Your thoughts? One thing that is BS in AFC is giving Patriots a bye week in December.

I'd say these AFC teams will make Playoffs for sure: Pats/Broncos/Ravens/Colts (not guaranteed Division winners)

I'd say 6 teams don't have any chance.

    That leaves, Steelers/Bills/Chargers/Jaguars/Texans/Chiefs

Took a glance at the schedules for these teams and IMO Steelers miss the Playoffs. Which is really going to suck since AFC is wide open. NFC 99.9% it's Eagles or Rams

    In the AFC
    The Patriots are in already.
    The Broncos will be there
Both teams are 'on the rise'

    The Colts can make it.
I figure these 3 will be division winners.

    Wild Card
Pittsburgh/Baltimore - 1 will win the division, probably the Ravens if Lamar can stay healthy.
Chargers/Bills/Jags/ maybe the Texans can fight it out, maybe push Pittsburgh out?

    Things change quick though.

The Steelers will miss the playoffs this year. Even if they finish 10-7 that isnt going to be enough to get them in this year.

The only chance the Steelers have is to sweep the Ravens and win 2 additional games. I just don't see that happening.

You can't count them out, but I think they have 4 losses coming up. A bit of a rough stretch in the schedule. If they can survive it, then they will be tough.

The best path would be seep the Rats and beat Cleveland and Miami.

But then again I thought they would beat da Bears.

    Texans
If they can get the offense going to match that defense
Going to be a tough out if they make playoffs

    50/50 at this time but

Messing with the playoff machine yesterday I ended up where the Steelers were #1 seed somehow so there is a chance.:smiley1:

    I don't think we'll get a WC spot.

So I think we need to sweep the Rats.

Will be hard, but the games against them usually come right down to the wire (I am clearly repressing all memory of the most recent game against the Rats here).

So if I had to bet, I'd put the money on us missing the playoffs. But probably only getting eliminated in week 18.

Hilariously, if we do get in as a division winner it will likely mean that the WC teams are QB'd by Mahomes, Allen, and Lamar. So the one time we shouldn't draw an elite QB in the playoffs, we still someone elite and get smoked in the WC round.

If we do want a WC spot (again, might be better than having a home playoff game this year), I think we need to win the next two games. Which again, isn't a parlay I'd bet.

Even if they get in they will get boat raced in the WC game. This team blows.

Not if the Ravens lose 3 games, then the Steelers get in at 10-7 ;).

It's whoever wins our division. There won't be a 2nd team from the North getting in this year.
We're too inconsistent so we likely miss and the Ravens get in, but then again, part of being inconsistent is we're sometimes really good.
Who knows with this team. The Steelers are an enigma.

I went through the ESPN playoff machine and had us finishing 9-8 and no playoffs. I had us 8-8 going into the last Ravens game and winning that one against the Ravens JV squad because they were already locked into the #4 seed. I had the Colts at 13-4 and getting the #1 seed.

Steelers are 2-4 in their last 6 and 7-10 in their last 17, and I don't think we've bottomed out yet. So no, I doubt we make the playoffs.

With the way Daniel Jones is playing I don't think the Colts will get the #1 seed.

we do not make the playoffs 60% chance.

We do not win a playoff game 75% chance.

Tomlin to get fired or leave 10% chance.

    Those are my odds.

That is the thing. To even have a chance the Steelers have to finish out the year 4 and 2 during arguably the toughest part of their schedule. Nothing I've seen over the last 6 weeks leads me to believe they can do that.

Honestly, this may be the year the Steelers dont break even. I could easily see this team going 8-9

I'm seeing storm clouds brewing with guys like Echols and Queen openly attacking the coaching and Gainwell practically saying they don't play as a team. The cliff is near and its not going to be fun for us.
