Oh please pass the popcorn. We have beaten this horse for a long time and nothing has changed because the stadium is still packed with fans.

 

Out of curiosity what is your o-inion of the current Steelers and Tomlin? Is it Tomlin, Rooney, Khan, all of the above or is it the -layers, the assistant coaches etc? I sus-etc there are a lot more fans out there like Mikey G at this point. The outcomes of most of the games and seasons for this franchise have been pretty predictable. People just want change at this point. Yes I get change doesn’t mean better but at this point what difference does it make, we don’t win playoff games anyway.

Fautanu has been give. Very high marks by many analysts. He is going to be very good as he matures. MCCormock just was grade in the 80’s and the highest graded steeler oline this week by PGF. Peyton Wilson is leading the team in tackles. But he and Queen are woefully ,issued in this defensive system. Benton has performed above average but he is miscast as NT and that’s on Tomlin. He should be 3-4 DT. They need a bigger NT that can hold u- against double teams. JPJ has very high ratings this year. The third lowest passer rating against. Listed as a top r corner by PFF. Herbig would be a starter for any other team. Washington is a freak. Jaylen Warren a rookie free agent pickup is fantastic and one of our best offensive players. Frazier is already considered one of the the better Centers in the league. Jones isn’t what we ex-extend but we knew he was raw. That’s on him and coaching for his slow development. Also Carson Bruner is lighting it up on special teams he is one of our best special teams players which is what he was drafted for.

I agree on the linemen... especially McCormick. Fraiser is the better though.
I like Peyton Wilson, I'm pretty much spot on. He has been terrible against the run, they even took him out of the game because of it. But he is improving. He has speed.
Pretty much spot on with Benton as well. As a NT he does have sacks... that's where he is now.
Still, out of the bunch, who is all-pro? Right now
- Jones has the potential to be a Trent Williams.
- Fraiser is right up there with Steeler legends. He will be all pro.
- McCormick is looking to have a higher ceiling... I see him as a Brandon Scherff.
Our O line really isn't imposing their will on anyone. As I said, some of that could be coaching. (I am of the opinion Myers is toast.)

Bruner is a dime a dozen tweener. It's great he is good on ST's. If we can keep a ST's ace, great. If not, next up.

what if we gave a new Head Coach a trial run.With Tomlin promised a raise and Coaching here for the rest of his life-- If the new coach has a losing season---Would Tomlin go for it.
