Lsat time we played an awful Browns team on a Thrusday night ('09) we lost becasue Arians/Ben decided to throw the ball like 60 times in 45 MPH winds. I know we are pass first, but this team can pound the Browns into submission if they choose to. Question is, will they? I am ok with 55/45 or even 60/40 pass to run, but it better not be more than that. What is the predcition on number of passes 7 throws tonight. I'd say 30 is the O/U.

    # 7 has been trowing a lot less ever since the thumb injury. I'm going with under 30. Especially since I suspect he may be handing the ball off more in the second half with a 2 score lead or so.

Ben will throw 3 passes and all will be for touchdowns!

The Browns are #31 against the run. They can be easily gashed by most teams in the league. But then again, you need to have a running plan and attack as part of your offense, and I am not too sure that BA does...

They are also the #1 defense against the pass, but I think alot of that has to do with teams having such success running the ball against them that there is no real need to pass.

Of all game for BA to use 2 back sets and go heavy on effective running with play action passing, this it it.

Maybe Ben should throw for 400 yds just to beat up their defensive passing stats and thus move Pittsburgh closer to the top of the list.
Just kidding, I could care less about rankings, besides the win and losses kind.

Yes, which is why Arians will probably try to surprise them and pass the entire game, just like against Denver (or was it Arizona??) a few years ago. :frustrated:

I'm gonna say Ben goes 23-35 for 287 yards and 2TD's
Mendy 18 Carries for 76 Yards and a TD.
Redman will be watching from the bench.
    Steelers 21- Stains 0.

Better prediction is what plays will be made of the first 3 of the series?

First play - run Mendy up middle
Second - run Mendy up middle or outside
    third - WR screen

I'd really like to see Miller be used a lot tonite

What is this "wide-receiver" screen you speak of? I have never heard of it before but it sounds like something the Steelers should use, at-least, 5-7 times a game. I'm sure defenses wouldn't expect it and it would go for big yards! ;)
