After starting 4-1 only to be caught by the Ravens already you can't win a game then lose a game this time of the year. They would need to go 4-2 the rest of the way and hope the Ravens lose a few games.

I hear you SS. The eternal optimist in me says they are still fighting for a division but there is another part that wants to see if Howard is the future.

It was over the day they traded Pickens even though he is a nutback after signing Rodgers. This team is a rudderless ship with captain clueless leading the way. That being said we will probably beat the Bills easily to once again draw me back in.

I don't think so. The defense really came together.

If Rodgers is healthy next week, I think we will win.

Just need 3 more wins and Tomlin will be happy that his streak of non losing season will continue....The standard is the standard

I am split on evaluating Howard this season simply because our skill position personnel is weak. If he had people like Bettis, Parker, Buress, Hines, Randel EL, Heath, Verron Hayes...then fine. Ben came into a great situation. Defense wasn't bad either

The defense came together? I think Chicago just had another WR wide open 15 yards downfield.

The potential and flashes the D shows at times makes me want to believe they can have a great turnover day.

No team looks flawless either unlike other years. jmo

The season was over before it began. Not saying we won't make the playoffs, we might. Knowing this team, we'll go on a small run, look good, feel good, and then it will all come crashing down spectacularly. That's what happens every year. Last year we allowed like 200 yards rushing. Before that, it was getting thumped by Jax and Cleveland. Or losing to Tim Tebow. Or starting 11-0 and then doing nothing the rest of the way. Or losing to bad teams only to miss the playoffs by 1 game. The list goes on and on.

This team has more fight in them I'm sure. We might make the playoffs. It's not impossible we even win a playoff game, but when it comes crashing down, it will be ugly. It always is, every single year. It's almost unheard of for us to be a good team, play well but simply lose a competitive game to another really good team. It's a rollercoaster ride, and the rise isn't over yet, so no, you can't get off. The ride isn't particularly fun, but we'll all ride it again next year, because we're stupid.

Steelers will continue to be doomed until changes from the top down are made.

Easy....Dolphins,Browns and the backup of the ravens in week 18....Or one upset in the games vs Bills,on the road vs ravens or lions like they did against the colts....Not impossible and we see the movie so many time in the past

My prediction of 9-8 before this year was by far my easier prediction of all-time!

This isn’t a very good team
3 more wins maybe a stretch
Bills going to lay the smack down
Lions with the offense they got?
    Lamar and Henry!?
Sanders might light it up against this secondary
    Tua and Hill?!
    I hope we win out
But it depends on which Steelers team decides to show up

The future certainly appears gloomy but I just can’t give up on this team yet. Jacksonville won a game they should’ve lost today which drops the Bills from a 6th to a 7th seed so they’ve got as much to play for as we do next week. That said, I could actually see our Jekyll and Hyde team coming to compete @ home vs the Bills next week. Both Bills and Ravens can be got this year.

Yeah…getting rid of Pickens made our team considerably worse…you got to question how serious they were to win this year

Not sure I want to see Howard ruined by a Tomlin insisted ultra-conservative, dink, dunk and punt offense. I am so sick of this "I dwanna risk a twernover" baby offense. Gee I love 3 FGs and 5 punts. It's greeeeeeeeeat!

Please stop with the Howard stuff. He's not seeing the field unless Rodgers and Rudolph are both injured or if Rudolph throws like 4 picks in a half
