Not a complete revelation, some of these names have been discussed already, like Dunn, which I was disappointed with the reporting, he's been fielding punts, how about telling us a little about that instead of just mentioning a guy that every Steeler fan has heard of a million times already. But one guy I don't think I knew about is J.D. Woods? Not sure but maybe Mac has spoken about him, I'm absorbing so much Steeler stuff this offseason that things are getting blurry :lolol: Anyway, he played alongside Tavon Austin and Stedman Bailey, that would make just about anyone fly under the radar. Intriguing :hmmm:

I thought the same thing when I first heard about Woods. I haven't seen one second of him playing, but playing behind those guys, with the amount of catches they had... It doesn't mean he's good enough, but if he was good enough, we might not know it from his tape. So there's a chance.

Here's some game tape of Embernate. It's labelled as tape of Ziggy Ansah, but Embernate is in every play. He starts out at RG, but then switches to RT at 2:17. He and Ziggy do face each other a lot, with mixed results.

...Not sure I've ever seen anything quite like that attempted trip from Ziggy at 1:36.

Don't stop watching the play that starts at 3:02. It starts out rough, but it gets better. :lolol:

I'd say his pass blocking is pretty rough, and he's inconsistent, but he looks strong. Hopefully he can progress like Ramon Foster did.

I also didn't know that Notre Dame had its highest rushing average since 1996. That's a good sign, I suppose. Here's some tape of Mike Golic, Jr. He's #57, the RG.

It's actually Tyler Eifert tape, so for those of you who wanted Eifert in the draft, just fast forward through all the replays of him being really good.

Here's some less impressive tape against Purdue, occasionally going against Kawaan Short with... less than stellar results.

Still, I like Golic. Just from these three tapes, I like him better than Embernate. He seems like he's quicker, has better balance and is more athletic. Except for a few terrible plays, I was impressed. And both guys have played all 5 positions, I believe.

yes i have spoke of woods. i don't want to lose he or brown just to keep plax or cotchery. brown didn't have 114 catches like the other two but there's plenty of tape on him. he's a great blocker and strong. he's nowhere near a burner type receiver. he had 61 catches last year. thats the 3rd guy. 61 and he flew under the radar. most top wr picks didn't have 61 catches.

embernate, i like. farrell from penn st. too, better then golic, and i like golic and madsen. hide them away somewhere for the future.
