You need to come visit Baja Oregon sometime. Very scenic place with the highest and lowest points in Continental US, a very long beautiful ocean coastline, highest gas prices and state taxes, 1/3 of all US welfare recipients, sidewalks and parks repurposed as affordable housing and possibly more Steeler fans than in Western PA. Quite a diverse place. Albeit, Idaho beckons. :drinks:

Someday. It's hard for me to leave the South since I've moved here. I have learned to hate the cold

Not to be a smarty pants here but one of the nicest things about being retired is if it’s cold rainy or just crappy I don’t go outside

Trying to do an "egg fast" this weekend, so nothing exciting.

So probably just simple scrambled eggs. Or maybe a frittata if I feel like doing a little more work.

God, i ate one of those little red peppers in Columbus, Ohio at a Chinese restaurant in Mongolian beef. i couldn't eat the rest of my meal. it was so friggin hot. i don't think i tasted anything for a couple of days after. i was in my mid 20's and liked spicy food. that one hurt me.

I make an oil out of the Kung Pao peppers garlic and ginger and measure the quantities so I know what I have

It’s great for stir frying many things

    Shrimp for example

Peanut oil to start because of the smoke point sesame oil for flavor later

For some reason I was thinking you were infusing a batch of oil for later use.

I make the oil and bottle it then I use it to stir fry

Then whatever I’m making I season accordingly with sesame oil or possibly more garlic oyster cause etc
