You want to throw out any game that doesn't fit your narrative, but I'm the one manipulating things. You're funny.

Also, I didn't pull anything from my ass. I trusted StatMuse. Didn't realize they were counting appearances, not just starts.

Could Aaron Rodgers play a game where he does not take a single snap from Under Center? Arthur Smith's offense has always been at the top of the league n snaps taken under center.

Not sure how the running game would work from out of the Shotgun formation for the entire game.

I know 1 thing about Rodgers hand if it is cold and rainy and or snowing it will hurt way worse than if it is nice outside.I know because I had a fractured wrist. So we will see.can he grab the ball right hold it-- will he fumble it will he be able to do it.Is it worth risking it.

I don't think aaron can flip the ball fast enough, when in shotgun.

Does anybody know if he can take a direct snap from center? if he can't, he shouldn't play.

You clearly implied that his stats were inflated because he has played Bengals 5 times. I just proved they are not. His worst game in his career is against the Bengals after which he was benched. It’s obvious that being falsely accused of being a racist and it being national news affected his play. He also didn’t have his leading receiver (Juju) and running back (Connors) for that game. There are valid reasons for overlooking that performance. It is also a statistical outlier.

IMO, hopefully not until they have to say. It doesn't help us one bit to say any sooner.

His numbers were inflated by playing so many times against the Bengals. It is even worse that he managed to play like garbage against them once.

I'm aware that you like making excuses for him. The simple fact is that he played so poorly late in the 2019 season that they benched him for Duck Hodges, who was out of the league the following season. You find an excuse to throw out every bad performance, while ignoring the advantages he had in the good ones. That is an approach that shows no interest in making a valid analysis.

I would be really surprised if it isn't Rodgers.

I think so, too, but it shouldn't be. They should at least give him one week to recover. They need somone taking snaps under center to help the running game. That is where the Bears are weakest. I'm concerned that Rodgers will hurt the team there due to the injury.

Still smarting that he showed Pickett to be a fraud. If you can't comprehend that someone in their first year of starting can have a bad game after a national controversy of accusing him of racism, along with not having your top skill players, then you probably have no clue about sports psychology. It's no wonder you are a 'Formerscribe' rather than a current one.

Hell he still thinks Pickett is better than Rudolph, and will still think this when Pickett is not even in the NFL. It will be a conspiracy against Pickett.

You are vastly overstating the significance people made of Garrett's accusations. That was a story for maybe a week after the incident. People paid far more attention to Garrett's actions than his claims about Rudolph.

Please refrain from making this discussion personal. It may be frustrating for you to have your claims about Rudolph so easily dismantled, but please attack the argument, not the person making it. Thank you.

I am a former scribe because I moved on from journalism to become a teacher. Working better hours for more money with summers off was more appealing. I still had 10 more years in sports journalism than you ever did.

I am simply more realistic about Rudolph than either of you. The guy has been a backup for a reason. Teams haven't wanted to give him another shot to start for a reason. The Steelers are trying to play an injured Rodgers over him Sunday for a reason. It isn't my fault you don't understand that.
