I like CA3 - I have said that, but Roman I know can play.

You all saw it, open early and often.

Aaron is scared, can you blame him? He either throws into coverage to #4 or he checks to a TE or RB.

Rudolph may be able to get this offense moving, like he did at the end of 2023 (was it that year??)

He can absolutely play. His usage has been baffling.

Maybe the Steelers are trying to make Austin happen like making fetch happen.

The more talented player will rise to the top though and thats Wilson.

Three examples that show how we're limiting ourselves on passing plays:

@1:00: Wilson, Metcalf, and Washington all run crossers and are stacked, along with two defenders and a safety over the top, within seven yards of depth two seconds after the snap. Gainwell takes a wheel route to the right, taking a defender. Austin a deep fade up the left hash where he's covered by a corner and the other safety. His route opens the completion to Washington coming out of the stack, but it's the only one of the five that appeared to have had a chance.

@1:07: Just before half, one chance to get into the EZ. Wilson runs a shallow out that breaks at the two, Metcalf runs a stick and fade to the right corner. Washington releases straight into the EZ where he's pocketed by three defenders. Austin I assume was a jerk route meant to break inside, occupying the space vacated by the two defenders that covered Washington. This I think is the money route, but he got mugged and Rodgers looked Wilson's way from the snap. Wilson can't bring it in, wouldn't have scored anyway.

@1:13: Wilson runs a fade. He's open deep eventually, but the coverage is pretty tight. Smith releases on a stick route, taking two defenders with him. Washington and Metcalf are sent on crossers five yards in front of the LOS. This does create a blown coverage as Washington comes out of the bottleneck with no defender. Unfortunately, Rudolph appeared set on a check-down to Gainwell from the snap. He never looked at anyone else.

He has to have time to look

Watching a replay DK was running free down the field waving his hand and Mason scrambling dumped off
