I wasn’t alive in the 70’s, so I don’t really care. I wouldn’t have noticed though, because it’s all relative. They used to do that all the time in the 70’s, so it was normal. Now they’ve worked hard to get that out of the league for the last 20 years. Same for hockey and basketball…

 

Correct, they've been working to make it soft. And a lot are for it.

I watched a local high school football game Friday night and on the first play the running back gained 5 yards

Without George Pickens we just don't have the offensive firepower to win these games. Steelers are losing against the Chargers tonight because they need another weapon.

How many games can the Steelers win if their offense can only score 3 points???

 

Any time I see DK doubled, which is EVERY PLAY, I get pissed at Khan/Tomlin for trading Pickens. They just didn't give that DUO a chance, at all!

 

LOL... George didn't even make it out of the 1st half tonight before he already had better stats than any Steeler WR this week.

 

Yet the Cowboys still have a losing record with Lamb and Pickens

 

I wouldn't count Dallas out with the way Washington is playing right now.

Heck why trade him? Was he a headache at times? Yes, but he was worth keeping. I mean he’s been tearing it up all year. He did it with us. It’s not like we didn’t know what he can do yet we trade him for a third round pick. Where are we going to find a third round pick who can play like him. Nowhere. We keep him our offense is good to great.

DK is just getting doubled so much. I still can’t believe we just gave him away and of course we have been looking for his replacement ever since. We’ll never find another replacement as good as him this year. Lastly, he’s still on his rookie contract if I think I know what I’m talking about.

 

Just curious is this statement about the NFL or sports in general? North American brand of hockey is hardly what I'd call soft.

 

Be stuck in Tomlin Hell, because he no longer wants to be a head coach of a Playoff Winning team. How many years will go by with the Steelers never winning in the playoffs, as Tomlin phones it in from his couch???
