Respectfully Chase should be suspended and a public apology should be issued.

Ramsey was ejected for throwing a punch. And since the blind refs missed chase actions, than chase should be suspended for the next game.

    Fair is fair.

    Grammatically, he did not lie

Chase told reporters. "I didn't spit on nobody."

Ramsey still has to be smarter than that. He knew he was a personal foul or unsportsmanlike conduct penalty away from being kicked out of the game. He knew that his team was already shorthanded in the secondary. Tear him a new one after the game if you must, but show some self control in the moment.

At least this issue is on the national news and NFL.com so they can not ignore it

To say Ramsey should have had self control is easy for wimps sitting at home

But in the world of real men I come from if someone spits on you then you immediately slobber knock them

Good for you. One man spitting on another in a bar or some social situation is not the same thing as doing it in a football game. They aren't playing in our world. On the field is a world of people playing in the dirt and getting spit, snot, and blood on each other. Ramsey needs to grow the hell up and focus on helping his team win. Real men know how to use their brains when **** gets real.

He's almost certainly going to be suspended, which sucks for us. Their next two games are against the Patriots and the Ravens, both being games we'd want Cincinnati to win.

I think he will be only suspended for the game vs Pats...And I don't think they have a chance against the Pats and Ravens(even with Chase) with their all-time bad defense

If Ramsey is still suspended for throwing a punch, it is what it is. I totally understand why he threw a punch. You can’t just let another grown man spit on you. Can’t respect a guy that doesn’t stand up for himself in that situation.

Chase absolutely needs to be suspended for the spit. That’s just… outside the game for sure. Can’t let that go unpunished if you’re the NFL. If he had any class as a human, he’d apologize or at least own up to it with a “heat of the moment, emotions got the better of me” type of statement (at the very minimum on social media). I just don’t get lying about it. Too many cameras on the game to get away with something like that lol just dumb.

Based off precedent from week 1 (Philly), I doubt he’d get more than a game… especially first offense.

The NFL can’t do nothing about it tho.

    Interesting.

Wonder if they will consider Ramsey's ejection as a suspension. Then suspend Chase for a game.

Chase did spit on him.... also some big time trash talking.
But I think Ramsey did a really bad thing in letting Chase get in his head.... Chase was punking out a lot and Ramsey could have done reverse on him, just keep trash talking and Chase would break protocol easy.

    Ramsey needs to do better.

Given how JaMarr is still a Superstar WR no less, I anticipate that the League will do nothing as well. I am with agreement with @SteelerGlenn@SteelerGlenn given the leagues history of botching disciplinary action. I still would be surprised.. but not shocked.

    Yep.

To spit on another man means you think of him as less than the very sidewalks you walk upon. F#$k that. Morals off at that point.
