    Wow, stupid thing to say Mike, "you're not going to shoot me in front of people" since when are crimes only committed by smart rational people??? I remember a story from my area a few years back, a very pretty aspiring actress and her friends were held up by some punks and she said "what are you going to do, shoot me" bang, she died.

    The more this story unfolds the luckier it seems Mike got.

    Man!!! I second the notion the Black and Yellow song gets banned from Heinz Field.

    Nowhere in that article does it even remotely infer Wiz Khalifa had anything to do with this stabbing. This dude just appeared in the video and signed onto the record label. Basically every rap artist alive would be in jail if they were held responsible for every random action by someone in their video.

    More importantly, you guys really show your age by hating on Black and Yellow. That song was loved the country over and is by far the most synonymous with the Steelers and the successful 2010 season. I understand if you don't like rap music but nothing about this stabbing and the song have anything to do with each other.

    :cray: We don't like the song, get over it. Not only do I think it sucks, it's not black and yellow, it's black and gold. The thread was made in jest.

    And for the record, I like some rap music, just not this rap music.

    Point isn't really whether or not you like the song. The point is that equate song to unrelated rapper to stabbing is ridiculous.

    Also, this black and gold/black and yellow distinction also doesn't make sense. Who cares? The Penguins wear Gold.

    I don't think anyone equated the song with the stabbing. But the fact that there's a loose connection gave people who hate the song an excuse to say they hate it again. That's all. They might be showing their age, but I don't think they care. They just wanted to say they don't like it.

    I never said this Wiz guy had anything to do with it did I? I'm talking about Dequay, I don't know the group, don't follow them or like their music but the article said Dequay appeared on Taylor Gangs mixed tape "Taylor Gang Over Everything" then in the next paragraph mentioned Black and Yellow, it's a little misleading if that song isn't on the mixed tape he performed in.

    The black and gold distinction doesn't make sense except for the fact that black and yellow isn't correct, other then that it doesn't make sense.

    Dude, this guy runs with Wiz's "crew" and appeared in the video so Whiz is obviously good friends with this guy... that means unless Whiz drops this guy like a log anything associated with Wiz will have a negative connotation with the Steelers.

    AND IT IS BLACK AND GOLD, that is why the song is stupid, and I love rap.

    Isn't "athletic gold" just a nice way of saying "yellow"? I never quite got why people started calling them black and gold. If you were to show that color to 100 random people I bet 97 would say it's yellow. Was it because of the black and silver of the Raiders?
    Like the song or not, it's catchy as hell. Which is why it was popular.

    Because of this....all three of these pop up when you GOOGLE GOLD....might be more of a yellow gold...than say the saints...but its like white, eggshell, and linen and bone....just different shades

    If they had sang "Black and GOLD", I MIGHT have been able to accept it as a "Steeler Fight song"(for other people to enjoy).
    But, I doubt it, the song just sucks!
    As is, there is definitely a distinction between colors` names, when they are applied to sports teams.
    It`s tradition.
    If you doubt me, just tell a Michigan Wolverine`s fan, his team`s colors are YELLOW and Blue, instead of Maize and Blue!
    Trust me, as a SCARLET(not RED) and GREY fan, I have...
    and, they DON`T LIKE IT!!!:roflmao::butcher:
