I read the Eagles are already sniffing around Asante for their 53 man roster.

I'm sure that he signed to the PS with a plan in place. He is not your typical PS guy. Once he works his way into shape then he'll be promoted. If any other team wanted to sign him to the roster than they all had a chance and he could have signed. I'm thinking that there are guidelines in place for him to be promoted when he's ready and he signed a deal knowing that.

He just turned 26 years old last month... i think some are posting assuming he just turned 36... obviously his back surgery is critical.. he might very well move like a 36 year old for all anyone knows.. it's very low risk, possibly high reward. I don't know how anyone could hate on this move.. I was hoping he'd sign with the Steelers after having his surgery/treatment done by Steelers doctors.

The only things I’ve read are that it’s something he’s always dealt with and it caused stingers in his shoulders. Which I would assume somewhere in the neck/upper back

I haven't seen where it's been made public, but given that the nerves associated with stingers are rooted in the lower cervical (C5 - C8) to the upper thoracic (T1) regions of the spine, I'd expect somewhere along that section.

That's a good thing. Detroit is the only dome team left we play.
    The others are all outside.

Who says our DC don't be on his game??
