    So basically Anthony Richardson?!

Oddly enough, Sellers more so reminds me a bit of Dante Culpepper.

Culpepper's name pops up on a lot of scouting reports. Richardson isn't a bad comp either in general, although at least Richardson was a one-year starter. Sellers is in his second and isn't showing a ton of growth in some of his weaker areas. Though to be fair I haven't dug into his performances too far from this year yet.

@SC Gamecock@SC Gamecock should present a formal scouting report ahead of next spring's draft. ;)

oregons qb is returning to school i saw. this class isn't very good at the position. we made a good move with howard last year to all those that said just wait for this draft. fill the voids with this draft and possibly get another mid round guy. mccown UTSA? diego pavia? < i like this kid.

I like Pavia as a college QB. Not a long list of QBs his size that had long NFL careers. Not saying he won't. Just saying he's a long shot.

That's the thing though... Will he get better development going to the NFL to a team that is willing to let him sit out a year? Are there even any college coaches that are known for truly developing QB's like him into NFL readiness? Is it worth risking going back to school and getting injured/performing poorly and losing the draft pedigree?

If he is set to be a first round pick... then he should go to the draft. This is a weak QB class and he might be considered a top 2-3 QB in the class. Look at what happened with Allar... The Browns likely would've drafted him at 2 had he come out last year. Now he played poorly and got hurt, so he's a day 2 pick now? Went from a first rounder (possible top 5) to being a 2nd-3rd round pick (and likely gets drafted there for his physical tools) or even a day 3 pick altogether.

I have unfortunately. For that matter, he is a mix between both Dante and Anthony; unbelievably gifted but unfortunately underdeveloped. Again, as I have been on record in stating this summer, unless LaNorris tore the SEC apart, he wouldn't be declaring.

Should he declare, all that would confirm is that is agent has been notified or least given hints from the NFL Draft Advisory Board that Sellers will be a First Round Pick; Top 20 specifically. Roughly 7.5% of all draftees are recognized by this very same board as First Round talents. Even fewer are considered Top 20.

Overall, I don't think his finite mechanics, basics and fundamental aspects of the position are incapable of being developed; an issue I had with Richardson. It is just that, they are not starter worthy at this time. Coincidentally enough, Pittsburgh would be an ideal spot should Aaron Rodgers return along with Arthur Smith returning as well.

Among the Offenses that Sellers would thrive in, Arthur Smiths heavy usage of either Play Action or bootleg roll out plays is where Sellers shines brightest.

As it stands as of 11-8 25, the Steelers will have no shot at Simpson, Moore, amd Mendoza. All three players will be top 15 picks.

We should not reach for a QB in round one.

But round two might have Mateer, Stockton, and the intriguing Robertson to choose from in round two.

Doesn't look like it's lining up how we hoped. From what McShay is hearing, Moore is a lock to go back to Oregon. I'm not sure Simpson comes out either. Mateer probably going back after that thumb. Sellers and Arch arent ready. This class is drying up fast. Next year, could be huge. Throw in Sayin, Lagway, and Nico as possibilities.

Doesn't look like the year. Bring back Rodgers maybe and keep developing Howard. If they aren't there, they aren't there.

Yeah, they'll have a shot at guys like Allar, Nuss, and Beck but I'm not thrilled about them. Mendoza will be long gone.

I am sure 75% sure Simpson comes out in 2026. That sucks on Moore.

Mateer may come out. Much depends on how he finishes the season.

    Keep an eye on Roberston.

Haynes King has the feet on a cornerback, and some passing ability. If he closes the year strong he is in the conversation for day two.

Dante Moore declaring wasnt gonna happen anyhow. I still also dont believe that Sellers is declaring either though I was on record in stating so this summer. Should he declare?!

Someone is gonna take a chance on him. He'd better return to College and transfer out.

This is gonna piss off a lot of people but I honestly dont forsee a point in time during the 2026 NFL Pro Day that Drew Allar is not brought in for a Pre Draft Visit. As far as his overall traits and tools?! By no means a LaNorris Sellers but the dude is way too gifted in terms of Arm Strength and overall Arm Talent not to take notice.

Like Tyler Shough, he is going to go much earlier than others think.

    What’s a Pee Draft?

J/K - I also expect that Sellers could go early. Or maybe teams are learning from failed picks like Richardson and will shy away from burning high picks on guys who are all athleticism, with sketchy QB skills.

I don’t see Allar going in the 1st.

    Fat fingers for that.

As for Allar?! Nor do I. I am saying though he isn't getting past Round 3. He has flaws but there is too much arm strength and arm talent to work with; his youth no less.

Aren't Penn State players considered local visits for pre draft?

As it stands now they have (3) 3rd round picks (I think). I could see them selecting Allar in this round.

    Correct.

Penn State is well within the 50 Mile Radius rule within the Pre Draft Guidelines. It will not count towards a Pre Draft Visit. I stated such for I don't forsee a possibility in which the Steelers don't bring him in.
