Still they have a deep enough WR room to struggle that much on offense, Jordan Love is way too up and down as a QB. If Love played like he did the last two games against the Steelers that would've likely been a win for us.

They also have injuries, but you are underestimating just how great Kraft was this season before he got hurt.

Kraft is a good player but the last two games at home they scored 13 and 7 points and lost both, that's not good enough for a team that's supposed to be a Super Bowl contender.

Plenty of mediocre qb’s have won SB with good coaching. However bad coaches rarely win SB when their assistants are also bad to average.

I thought for sure that we traded up for Gonzalez to make up for the mistake of drafting Kenny Pickett over Trent McDuffie but nah we just doubled down and took Jones.

A lot of work ahead for Sellers
To compare him to Jackson and Allen is kinda far fetched.
Do yourself a favor and sit and watch Sellers tape with a clear mind.
    Passing game isn’t good
Steelers would ruin him even further with the coaching staff they currently have.
You are correct with current thinking of the NFL or lack thereof… some team will draft for a
    Athletic Player
How has that worked out in recent years drafting an Athletic QB?
Takes way more than being athletic to be a qb

I actually have watched Sellers all season. I scout players quite often. For that matter, I started watching Sellers since he was a Freshman. The potential was there despite his lack of polish.

For that matter, Josh Allen was much of the same; very gifted but very raw. Sellers is no different sans the starting experience. Beyond that?! They are near identical as far as prospects are concerned.

As for Lamar Jackson?! The NFL sure as hell wasnt ready to accept the fact that QB Mobility would be a major factor moving forward given its failures in the past. One major cavaet though for Lamar; he was a Heisman Winner and a rock solid toolsy player by the time he entered the draft. Lamars issues stemmed from him transitioing to a convential NFL Offense. That was never going to work. Lamars skillset had to become the focal point as opposed to the traditional way of drafting a QB to fit the system. Look how that is turning out.

Since 2018, the number of hyper athletic QBs entering the draft has gone up significantly. Doesnt mean they panned out but it does mean that said archetype is where the NFL is headed. LaNorris wouldnt have worked out in the 2000s to the mid 2010s for the NFL was much different. Now?! He is as good as a First Round Lock just based on tools and traits alone; tools and traits no other QB can match.

In short?! Am I advocating Pittsburgh to trade up to get Sellers?! No. Will he go in Round One should he declare?! Yes. Way too much potential and promise to work with.

It isn't. They are erratic, to say the least, but they Kraft was more than "a good player" this season.
