Well Bill did get to SB with Neil O'donnell. Tomlin would have sat him for 3 years.

Hate to break it to you, but there’s only one person making up crap in a weak attempt at defending a failed argument. You’’ll find that man in a mirror.

What great coach fails to win a playoff game in 8+ years?

Only successful one that comes to mind is Brady.

Rodgers is turning 42 next month, his play very well may fall off a cliff. That shouldn’t be controversial to point out.

You are one of the few steelers fan who don't care about the lack of playoffs win since that time

Joe Montana was still pretty good with the Chiefs as well. Hoping (or was hoping) that AR would at least be on that par. I think one bad game can be viewed as an anomaly (Chargers had something to do with that i think), but if it happens again next week? Then it becomes a worrisome trend.

Montana was 37 and 38 in his 2 seasons with the Chiefs.Rodgers win the MVP at 37 and 38 too.But this is a big difference when you are at over 40

True, we’re pushing the limits with a 42 year old. Russel was only 36 last year and he was done.

Teams mistakenly believe every great QB can play well into their late 30s early 40s. Brady was an anomaly and an exception.

Let’s just pretend this is on the table. I think we can all agree zero chance it happens mid season. This summer he will have 2 remaining years left. I believe Tomlin normally gets extended with one year left. Which would mean summer of 2027. However if Rooney wants to move on I keep hearing people say Rooney will let him play out his contract. That leads me to my question would Tomlin be willing to coach knowing it’s over (lame duck coach)? Would the Rooneys be willing to have a coach that has zero chance of staying. Does that mean we only have 1.5 seasons left? What do you think it will look like?
