What’s even dumber is the title of this thread. Muth uses words like “we”. That should speak volumes

    I know.... :)
At this point, he's better off saving the resources and money and applying them to next season.
We'll have to live with the bad patches for now.

But Pickens has a bad attitude and gets a few personal fouls each season! Wahhh!

Doesn’t matter if the ball is 5ft over their heads.

Why is Gainwell playing so much again? He seems to be the pass catching back for some reason when Warren is far better at it than he is. Warren far out-touched him, so at least there's that, but Gainwell played what seemed to be all of the 3rd downs. Considering how awful we were at 3rd down last night, I can't help but think taking off one of our only offensive playmakers played a role in that.

It's like we've settled on roles for the two and haven't adjusted now that we can see that Warren is the far superior player.

Is this true? It feels kinda true because Warren is definitely criminally underused... but that would still be shocking. To get 14 carries and 2 receptions and get out snapped by a guy who got 2 catches for 4 yards and absolutely zero carries is wild.

Warren is a VERY capable 3rd down player. Especially as a blocker and receiver. We could've used him out there for sure.... We tipped our hand a lot last night. We had a poor game plan and had poor situational calls... idk. Hated everything about the gameplan last night.

Gainwell is the least of our problems, IMO.

No, but Warren and DK are our two best offensive players and it seems like we can't get it to DK and leave Warren on the sideline for more than 50% of the game... not a great recipe for offensive success.

That was certainly an issue last night... but we still need to get open better. Too many times we saw our WR's and TE's blanketed

I don't thing Muth is calling out the WR's though, he is clearly calling out the pass-catchers (of which he is one). The TE's can get open too. Nobody is, and when we did, Rodgers overthrew him or we let the ball clang off our hands for a pick.

I still say it’s not just a poorly coached team but poorly SCHEMED offense (and defense). It’s like they are always trying to fit square pegs into round holes.

Nothing is sharp. Nothing seems fast.

It all starts in the trenches. The ball flies high because there’s absolutely no time. The protection last night definitely regressed

I was hearing that Gainwell was open quite a bit against the Chargers, but Rodgers wasn't seeing the field well.

Hearing from who? Rodgers played like ****, but stuff like that seems dubious at best.

Gainwell has outplayed expectations, but Warren needs to be on the field more. If he can't handle more of a workload, that's a serious problem.

The media, I'm not saying Gainwell should out snap Warren though.

Yeah this is the point I was trying to make. I don't think Gainwell is an issue, but his expanded role at the expense of Warren is potentially.

(and sorry if I shouldn't have started a thread, I just joined and I'm still getting accustomed to the board's best practices)

Du bist gut. don't read into that part too much lol

I think Warren tweaked a little something on the long screen play on the tackle
