It’s not even that they lose, it’s how they lose. When it’s the defenses fault it looks like they never played football before, last night it looked like the offense never played football before. Such an oddball team.

As I said, without +3 or more turnovers our D is exposed and our O can complete a pass on 3rd down and long.

The current Patriots are 8-2 despite to be -1 in turnovers differencial for the season....If the steelers would have that, they would be at 2-7 at best right now. They have been outplayed in every games this year outside of the game vs vikings and browns

I mean they are at -858 in yards and -127 in plays right now, this is brutal. They have a winning record right now for the same reason that 2021,2022 and 2023

Cam should look in the mirror as well as TJ Watt. Neither of them are worth a damn since signing their latest deals.

It’s sad to see the Patriots turn things around in one season with a new coach and here we are dealing with the same bs year in and out.

Of course, aside from coaching, the other big difference is the Patriots have a QB. Said all along Maye is he real deal. He’ll be the top QB before long. Get that guy some receivers and skys the limit.

What the steelers need is a full rebuilding with a new coaching staff and front office....The current roster is way too old and they can't compete with the best and they can't have high draft pick too.Vrabel and Maye make a major difference for the Patriots

The only one Id keep is Weidl. Give him the reins and let him pick his coach and fill out the roster.

Agree with new coaching staff and front office. Unfortunately the Rooneys want to keep their legacy and not fire the coaches. They should be ashamed of themselves. They need a Vrabel or Dan Campbell type to get this team in the right direction. I just hope it is still in my lifetime

They did what they needed to do. They got rid of their 'legendary' coach, had a few down years, got high draft picks and completely reloaded, now they're a contender again.

They didn't limp along with a with a burnout coach, missing on 1st rd picks, relying on over aged vets every year, with enough experience to keep the team relevant without the dynamism to make the team excel.

They even knew enough not to waste time on Mayo who replaced the legendary coach. Admitting you made a mistake and willing to move on is an important trait.

It may be more than just coaching, which is obviously a hindrance to winning super bowls. If the ownership is content with breaking .500 as a benchmark, that also contributes to this mess. There is no end in sight until a paradigm shift of massive proportions happens.

Curious, did the Titans make the right move firing their coach?(Vrabel)

When it seems to work out it's the right move. Same move doesn't seem to work out, stupid move.

The Titans had good years under Vrabel. They also had some lean years. Each year exists in its own time.

I would say to that, maybe the right move sometimes is to make ANY move. Even if your initial move turns out to not work, that leads to more change.

This stagnation is unbearable. Like Blast said, maybe Mayo was the wrong move for the Pats initially, but it least that lead to something better.

I think we've seen enough of what doing nothing accomplishes.

I always thought Vrabel was a very good head coach... And I also said at that time in this place that the Titans were stupid when they fired Vrabel after 2023.Just to look at the post 13 in the link below....

The last paragraph says a lot.
Cam is one of the guys we should have made a decision on. We probably could have gotten a decent player or maybe draft pick(s) to build from and he probably could be playing on a contender one last time.
He speaks very well, and I don't think the 'trust' comment is really applicable, it's more of the foundation list of checkboxes. I do think he is hinting at coaching and front office.

As a builder of teams, those tough decisions have to be made and know when it is time to move on.

But that sort of decision making should have been in place all along.

I doubt it will happen, but I think Tomlin should step down under his own volition. He could just say he needs a break and walk away. He himself has to know inside that he is past his expiration date in Pittsburgh.

Right! TJ's sack and Cam's batted passes weren't worth a damn last night!

They are playing below average to average at best. I assumed the decline of TJ last year was due to injury but I was wrong. He’s no longer a factor most of the time. Chip chip away

Even if he is right, what is worst thing that could happen. Team quits. The entire team quit the last 5 games of last season and gave minimal effort in playoff game against arch rival. Team has no heart and should be blown up and it starts with Tomlin. Instead, lousy cheap owner will keep a obsolete coach just to say they dont fire coaches.
