Tough to Overstate How Important This Game Was

Wilson got a new contract based on his past success. Not much to do with what he did with the steelers. Fields is a running Qb, thats how we used him. But against us he looked like Joe Montana. he’s looked mediocre at best since then.

 

Very crucial game tomorrow night. With a win we go to 6-3 and hold an important tie breaker over the Chargers. Lose and fall to 5-4 and probably only a one game lead over the Ravens. There is a lot of playoff implications for tomorrow nights game.

 

The game showed the steelers are capable. They have the talent and forced most of those turnovers. Just got to keep it going and the coaches have to have them prepared.

as far as tomorrow, it would be nice to win but ultimately, were going to have to take one from the Ravens and win out the remaining division games. Going 4-2 in the division and taking care of business elsewhere should put us in good shape

Yeah that's why everyone was say Fields had turned his career around, and he got that big contract. Like I said , You are funny. Use Your brain. Do You honestly think they would have both gotten contracts like they did if they sucked here. Of course the reality of the situation doesn't fit Your narrative.
I can make a list longer than my arm of the people that have sucked , or careers became worse after they left this so called terrible coaching staff. You know it, and I know it, but again that doesn't support your fantasy world.

 

Wilson did suck here. And Fields won mostly on his legs and with alot of defensive help. That was an unsustainable strategy down the season stretch. Are you still trying to prop up this coaching staff? Seriously? You’re going to great lengths to do that. Not once do you show any objectivity when it comes to the coaches. Seems like you’re living in Tomlin's jockstrap. The more i converse with you the more it seems like I'm conversing with a twelve year old (mentally wise, i know your quite a bit older but that doesnt mean anything).

Wilson as a Giant: 3 tds, and 3 ints.

Wilson was bad in the last four crucial games. Passing yards, 4-2 TD-Int ratio, effective yds per pass, Qbr, all went down. Sacks went up too, cause he has a bad habit of holding onto the ball too long. The Giants, a bottom dweller signed him to a one year contract to give Dart some veteran presence, thats all. And you make a big deal out of that? Russ was showing his age late last year and continued his slide this year. There is no magic that Tomlin created to get something out of Wilson.

If Fields, and Wilson sucked here, the Giants, and Jets wouldn't have given them the new contracts that they did, but again that doesn't fit Your narrative of our coaching sucks. LoL. I will bet You real money I can show You a long , long list of players that have played under this so called sucks coaching staff, and they all did better here, then when they left,and You would just make up excuses to why. Nah, just steelers doing steelers stuff. Win games they shouldn't and then lose games they should win. They get our hopes up only to step on our balls. We've known the script for the past decade or more. The standard is the standard.
