This and a little of we are not a dominant team by no means.
I will take any win even by 1
We are not going to blow anyone out

You used to wear bolo ties? Lol.. what stopped you? Seeing Philip Rivers wearing one? Or did you sour on them because your ole lady used one of yours as a necklace?

I'll always want to win the division. That is in the set of goals each season. BUT... make the playoffs is a bigger goal. Seeding is second to make the playoffs. Win the division is the easier road to getting into the playoffs, but not the only road.

I don't like to lose, but if we do lose, lose to the NFC. That is the best case for a loss. If we win every AFC matchup but lose every NFC matchup, we still make the playoffs most years.

Up 17 in the 4th when the opposition has to air it out and rack up passing yards? 190 passing yards in the fourth with 1 TD, 1 int, and a strip sack? I'll take that type of "blown out in yardage" every game.

I agree with that assessment. It likely is Tomlin's strategy, it just seems our team always bungles with a dumb penalty or botched coverage at the worst time.

That strategy works against Daniel Jones but is a terrible strategy against someone like Mahomes or Allen that can pull off miraculous touchdown drives in under 30 seconds.

That's what happens when facing a team with an elite QB. There aren't many of them but there's a reason why these guys dominate. Sometimes there is no answer. That's why they are elite.

They may end up with a better division record. That Bengals loss hurt us (Thanks Mike). We both may end up 10-7 and they get the tie breaker.

we go 5-4 the rest of the way? Its very possible given our schedule, (it gets tougher), i think we need to 6-3 at least to get the title. I see the Ravens coming on with Lamar back, they go 7-2 to end up 10-7 at least. Of course we need to split with them.

true but going as a WC is a tougher road in the playoffs. But maybe thats what we need lol

I don't know just how real 'home field advantage' really is in the NFL. Other than weather I'm not sure it really matters.

One difference is their defense isn't top-10 like they were last year, so it will be harder for them to go 7-2 like they did the previous season.

Last year in their away AFC games, they lost to the Browns and needed overtime to beat the Bengals. Hopefully the Ravens have similar problems this year.

Whoever is the #4 seed is going to have to host either the Bills or Patriots. Either one will be a tough team to open the playoffs with.

That works both ways. Maybe the Packers don't beat us without those two long 'throw it up there on a wing and a prayer' completions to the TE. Those passes were almost like hail mary's.

not too worried about NE, they havent really beaten anyone of note and we handled them this season already. The Bills would be tough.

I think the NFL is with you on that why else would they schedule Ravens and Steelers for the last game. Brilliant on their part.

And that can happen when you make a team one dimensional. Shutting down Taylor made them throw more.

The Patriots beat the Bills and marched up and down the field on us at will in the game. There's a 99.99% chance we won't win the turnover battle 5-0 if we play them again.

I never was a cowboy boot wearer. Even when I rode, or ride. I never liked them, but I know 100s of people that do. I always found them very uncomfortable, and not very practical. Rubber boots, Timberlands, converse, or sandles have always been my thing.

Hell I still have about 30 of them. I just never wear them. Here is something funny. I can remember wearing them with nothing but vest, no shirt. LoL Makes me laugh when I think about it.
