[h=1]Todd Haley: Steelers expect to play in “that confetti game”[/h]Posted by Michael David Smith on May 28, 2013, 1:07 PM EDT
[IMG] ReutersSteelers offensive coordinator Todd Haley says he and his team expect to get to the Super Bowl. But he doesn’t want to jinx it by actually using the word “Super Bowl.”
So Haley says he, head coach Mike Tomlin and the rest of the team are just calling it the “confetti game.”
“As a team,” Haley said, “our expectation is to get to that confetti game, as Coach Tomlin likes to call it.”
Haley thinks the Steelers absolutely have a Super Bowl-quality offense.
“I’m excited. I think everybody is excited,” Haley said. “We’re going to have some young guys who will have to come in and perform, but the thing that came out of last year was we got a lot of young people some playing time, specifically on the offensive line, which is invaluable. The Kelvin Beachums and the Mike Adamses, and even David DeCastro, who wasn’t 100 percent but still got some real-time snaps – that should help them a bunch. I would expect great development up front, and I think our quarterback is as good as anybody’s. We just need to do a better job of protecting him and him of protecting himself. And we need to run the ball more efficiently, because I think we’ll be able to throw it with anybody.”
If they’re as good as Haley thinks they are, they’ll end the season celebrating in confetti.

But being out here in Vegas they have them at 20-1 and I'll take some of that, because that will change big time when they start to win the first 2-3 games especially if the are one sided.
