This Year ,so far ,what AFC teams have better wins than We have??
    Serious question.
We have Beaten the 7-2 Pats, and the 7 -2 Colts.
Is there another with more, or better, I can't think of any??

Yeah, but the Steelers got lucky in both games because those teams handed the turnovers to the Steelers. And the Steelers didn't blow those teams out, so the wins aren't impressive ;).

The Donkeys beat the Eagles (when the Eagles were looking bad).

Yes those two wins are probably the best because they beat the Ravens and Chiefs when they were healthy.

Steelers have to prove they can beat a good team without a monsterous turnover margin in their favor. I'm gonna say it... this all hinges on Aaron Rodgers and the offense. Sooner or later, the D is gonna get gashed again and Steelers will need many points. Steelers failed many times with the Killer B's... when they should have put up 30-40 points. This offense isn't nearly as talented as the Killer B offense....so I'm not hopeful.

Not really. Several championships with relatively modest offenses were largely a result of a defense that created a slew of post season turnovers. People dismiss turnovers as happenstance, but there have been championship teams that lived off those.

Tomlin was a part of TWO of those teams and another featured an aging 40 something QB that was not peak physically, but knew how to make smart decisions.

Rodgers is putting up modest numbers but he is throwing TOUCHDOWNS at the pace of Ben at his peak.

    WAIT
I'd rather have a monstrous TURNOVER margin against a good team and beat the livinsh!t out of them by scoring TDs not FGs
    That's telling me that
STEELERS embarrassed their offense and defense

How many yards did their star RB get last week? That was a full effort by the Steelers D we saw in that game.

    Quality wins.
New England is riding a 6-game winning streak as is Denver. Those are my picks for best teams... Indy is still a good team
Among them still are the Buffalo Bills, who are probably the best. The problem here is that the injury list is looking like a MASH list.
The Chiefs and Chargers are playing good football and both have losses to teams they should not have lost to.
I think one can say same the same for all teams mentioned.

I think Pittsburgh did as I said.
If they had lost to the Colts, then got spanked by the Chargers, the season was definitely done and a finish like 7-10 was looming in the headlights.
If they pull off wins against the Colts and Chargers, its a way different story.

Pittsburgh has some very tough spots ahead.
Chargers are going to be tough in LA. It is winnable.
The Bears present the type of team we lose to... in Chicago. Definitely winnable.
The Bills will stampede us in our own yard. Very unlikely to win
The Lions keep misfiring... they are beatable, even in Detroit. Definitely winnable.

5 big games, if we can go 4-1 in that stretch, it will be awesome.
I think our Quality wins started with Indy.
I think the Patriots were not ready.. it is a good win but with an asterik.
The Vikes? Carson Wentz isn't very good... so I give that an asterik also.

New England has had a rather soft schedule (Bills win was big) and Denver just doesn't impress me with Bo Nix. I don't get the love fest with them...but their defense is definitely solid.

I don't think the Steelers match up well with Detroit...I could see Goff killing the Steelers with St. Brown and Gibbs.

Think Steelers maybe have exposed the Colts. Jones didnt suddenly become a great QB. What they did to him was why I felt the Colts was the most winnable game during this stretch.

I think he fits well in their system.
I don't think the HoF guys should be carving a bust of him yet.

Bo Nix is for real man.... it's the 800lb gorilla that is tough not to notice. The Kid is for real.
And as you point out, so is the defense which is a great recipe for developing a young QB (they have the D, they have the Run game)

    I agree with Detroit.

Yeah, but Daniel Jones threw for 360 yards. Colts were moving the ball at will. Steelers D capitalized off turnovers. Same thing with Maye/Patriots. If we face either of those teams in the playoffs, it will be a whole different ball game.

Right! They may throw for less yards and Steelers win without turnovers and then the Steelers can finally be credited with a win! :drinks:

The Lions don't do too well when Goff is pressured though.

A lot of those yards by Jones came when the game was already decided who cares. They shut down the #1 RB and their rookie TE.

It's all about matchups. Steelers DO NOT in any way... match up well against the Detriot Lions and the Buffalo Bills. They just don't. Period.

Broncos beat the Eagles, the Pats beat the Bills, the Bills and Jags both beat the Chiefs, Colts and Chargers beat the Broncos.... There are some good wins in there.

Though, my brother did say that all of the top AFC teams right now have had very easy SOS comparatively. I think ours is 9th at the moment and the rest of the teams ahead of us right now for the most part have SOS in the mid-high 20's or 30's.
