Gainwell blew that. No need to cut. Get it and go, and it would have been a first down. Rodgers knew it.

 

Typical offensive BS play calling. No go for the throat, let’s be ultra conservative and give the ball back to the Colts while we play soft zone and get carved up. These coaches are just F’ing clowns. I’m sure the play by play announcers know exactly what the Steelers are going to do.

 

Well, that series stunk a bit.

 

Gainwell ran the wrong way.

 

If Gainwell turns towards the line to gain, he gets the first. Instead, he ran into 2 defenders. He did not have any momentum that would have kept him from that either.

 

Gainwell needed to turn that up.

Yeah, we got the Steelers game on AFN this morning, so I’m not streaming.

Hate that in this situation. Even a 1st down would have been important.

 

Running on second-and-12 was just giving up on the drive. The Steelers went super conservative after Jones's missed block ruined the screen. That is inexcusably stupid. They can't count on the clock to win this for them. There is too much time left for that.

The hallmark of a Mike Tomlin team is the 4th quarter tightening of butt cheeks and slow escaping stinkers. Those first and second down play calls were terrible.

Can we, for once, keep doing what works and stick a boot on the neck of another team?
