Because we have to cycle thru arms till we find our franchise QB. Howard is another one in the process.

Sick of watching teams like Rams, Eagles, Broncos, etc... draft picks hit the ground running and contributing, while Steelers draft picks either rot on the bench or don't do much when they play.

I didn't read all of the OP's post, but Cam Skattebo absolutely should have been drafted ahead of KJ. I know Skattebo is hurt right now, but there is no doubt in my mind he will end up being the better back of the two. I wasn't a big fan of KJ going into the draft. I hope he develops. It's too early to judge him now.

I can only speak of Eagle fans, they think Mikey T. is the sh!t. They don't understand my constant complaining about him.

If Mikey T was head coach of the Eagles.... he would have been fired years ago.

I don't believe season after season the players we draft are consistently this bad. No chance.

It's coaching for the most part.

We need to start over after this season, before we waste another boatload of draft picks from recent drafts, and the picks we have in '26.

Maybe not popular but I would consider not drafting a QB and just go into the season with Rudolph+Howard next year. This team needs youth and talent in the secondary in the worst way. Churning through FAs isn't working out, obviously.

I'm not against that idea. Build around Howard this off season and through the draft.

Drafting defense has gotten tougher due to the restrictions now. They can't play with the same intensity as a decade ago. DL used to be let them catch the ball and then light 'em up. That's a flag now. Touch the QB wrong and flag. Tough to build a defense without aggression.

Start Howard for at least three games, assuming we are out if the playoff race.

And draft a QB in round one. My guess is we pick around 19th.

Targets are Mendzoa, Moore, Mateer, and Leavitt.

Defense is a waste of time, build something that can be middle of the pack and functional and spend money on point scorers. We had years of 90 winning games single handed and it got us nowehere in the end. We've also seen 90 beingt wrestled for years because they don't want QB's getting hurt, while they'll let offensive stars benefit from not being touched.

Another thing 3rd and long why are bothering throwing something 8 yards short of the sticks? it's a wasted play, 7-8 yards itsn't making any field position difference, while I accept there's issues in PP, you're still better off trying to heave the ball downfield and there's a decent chance of a flag...

We're still playing the game like it's 2002.

I agree, an offense that regularly picks up 3rd downs and has a middle of the pack defense, would be a good combination of traits.

I disagree, a good team needs a dominant defense. Look what the Eagles defense did to Pat Mahomes and the chiefs in the super bowl who could score from anywhere on the field... Total domination from the Eagle defense.

They used to be able to score from anywhere on the field, their offense was poor last year, in fact their whole season hung on close wins, and many calls going their way, they were fortunate to get that far, and then they got abused and blown out in the SB. This was far from the unstoppable juggernaut on offense it had been in previous seasons.
