Speaking of recruiting at SC, a few years ago, we got Clowney who was in state, plus a few other good players came with Clowney. Very rare. We can’t even out recruit Clemson.
Plus good in state recruits go to Ga or elsewhere. Very difficult to recruit if your not an Ohio St, Alabama Ga, you know this your hogs in same boat

Pump the brakes bro. Year 5 for Clark Lea with an overall record of 23-34. I'll believe Vandy is a legit contender when we see more than just a flash in the pan.

I'm a Pitt man, like to see PSU do well also. I am sure these big time programs
like PSU were hearing alot of flack from alumni and boosters. No use in prolonging
the inevitable.

 

I'm sure they were, but this shows they have no plans beyond trying to make the fans happy by firing the HC in the middle of the season. The real problem is recruiting. Like many colleges. When a teams wins a National Championship that hasn't had some top 10 recruiting on that team, it will be the 1st time it has happened .
