How can he play when @Brice@Brice told us he was heading for IR

For what it’s worth Frazier said he will be out there. He needs to practice today though to feel good about it.

hopefully he doesn't hurt himself more trying to play. watt and a hip is a concern too. i don't want guys just going through the motions while a healthy backup sits. mccullom hasn't killed us in the past. i wonder if harrison or KJ harvey will be brought up for this one?

Pretty much what you said about hip.
The Pittsburgh Steelers will play the Green Bay Packers at home this weekend coming off of 10 days rest, though the good news may end there.

Pittsburgh added superstar edge-rusher T.J. Watt to the injury report on Thursday, citing a hip issue that has put his status for the Sunday showdown in some measure of question.

I haven't had time to research any numbers, but I'd be willing to bet non-concussive injuries, especially soft tissue, have been on the rise the past few years.
