When was the last time you have seen the Steelers defense ranked 30 this far into season?
I know some don’t believe in stats, but they are facts. Yeah the secondary got better!
So you would believe they will get better with adding 1 or 2 pieces? That secondary is pure garbage, including JPJ. He hasn’t improved any, can’t tackle, handsy. But, as unbelievable as it is, no penalties last night.
About DL, they got a few younger players. Hopefully, they continue to grow. Watt and Heyward and don’t forget Highsmith , all underachieving big time. If Watt is getting double and tripled teamed, why can’t no one else beat their man one on one?

I don’t know from watching Mike Tomlin coached teams the last decade. Sure as hell seems like they give up every year.

 

100% agree but you know they won't.

 

Colts fan here I'll never understand the fire tomlin crowd. Tomlin is the only coach in nfl history to not have a losing season. Winning superbowls are tough unless you tom brady or pat mahomes and even they have lost their share. As long as your team makes the playoffs you have a shot at sb. That is what matters most.

1. Buffalo - has been there, they just need to beat KC,
2. Colts - Red hot, probably the best team in the AFC.
3. Denver - Bo Nix will be very good, he already is.
4. New England - Drake Maye is looking like a real good QB.
5. Chargers - They are 2nd tier but can play ball.
6. Chiefs - Probably on the fade but still can get back into that first tier.

I could have added that they did start out slow... looking really bad.
And waxed something out about them beating the crap out of Washington tonight.... I just figured that was an easy assumption.

Tomlin sucks and he should have been fired after losing to the Jaguars in the 2017 divisional round home game with a HOF QB, All Pro RB and All Pro WR with Pro Bowl OL.

 

Hell... I don't even get mad anymore when Steelers lose. That's kinda sad. I've grown numb to the mediocrity.... same as my Cowboys-fan brother. No hope for any post season success. No hope for any significant changes that would improve the Steelers team to the point where it could compete with the elite teams again.

 

I used to get so mad I would break **** when Steelers lost. I was young and stupid, of course. The game where Maddox filled in for Ben in 2005 vs Jaguars and threw the pick 6 to end the game.... I broke a TV remote into 50 pieces, lamp shade and broke a coffee table leg.

 

We're as good as I thought we were, just look at the performances all season...if you take the rose tinted glasses off we were very lucky to be 4-1.

 

Only losers give a **** about the non-losing seasons nonsense. It's meaningless.

 

I've never broken my television, but in 2010, in a game against the Ravens, in the game that Ben had a broken nose, I broke a wall during that game!

Now, I wasn't even mad in the last two games, since I've seen this Steelers movie too many times in the last few years... I have no realistic hope.
