The Mike Tomlin (and general coaching) Complaint Thread

I always laugh at the statement.....the talent we had then, and being said by the same people who say we can't coach, or develop players. They don't even know how they contradict themselves. LoL.
Like we have some different draft pool, and a different free agency pool than the rest of the NFL. LoL.
And people get butt hurt when I say.....Think. LoL .
These are the same people that actually believe places like the Browns, Jets, and others are cursed. LoL

 

Funny that McVay, and others that Tomlin owns is selected above Tomlin. LoL.
What is McVay, and Vrabel combined record against Tomlin???
I believe it's 0-5 .
This shows that there is no thought in what people are saying. They are just saying things.
Yeah I often like to have something that is less than I already have. LoL
Now here comes the ......That doesn't mean anything, from the people that will use this same dang thing , if it fits their narrative. LoL

According to ESPN, as of last week, the Steelers are #24 in total offense, and #28 in total defense. After 19 seasons in the most stable franchise in the NFL, with the last post season victory being almost 8 years ago, throw a dart if the bar is just better than Mike Tomlin.

 

It is evaluating him based on complete information. It also ignores how he has squeezed good results from substandard rosters since 2018. His good is still better than most of the league.

 

Ben Johnson’s brilliantly designed offense has six points at halftime against the Ravens’ broken defense. His Bears are trailing the Ravens without Lamar Jackson at the half.

 

To be fair Baltimore got two of the best defensive players in football back today. Makes a bit of a difference.

 

When the last time the steelers score over 20 points against the ravens?...2020....

Yes Mike Tomlin the best HC in the NFL and has won 3 playoff games in 15 years. It just doesn’t get any better baby.

maybe that worked in the 70’s with our HOF defense, or even in the 90’s with Lloyd, Woodson and co. But we dont have the horses to not prepare and gameplan

 

YES I am starting a new thread, so tired of what this has become. DC, Head Coach out coached, no adjustments, no clock management or challenges. Up 16 - 7, away team comes out and scores first 3 drives all TDs and a 2 pt conversion. Same old VANILLA defense bull****. Two weeks in a row same **** no adjustments no changes, zero deceptions. Highest paid defense in football and they not only quit but got embarrassed on national TV, prime time twice now. The head coach is a leach and doesn’t inspire ****! Keeps assistants around that suck. I would walk today if I was Rodgers. Biggest joke is owners to let this **** show continue.

 

I can't have this conversation again.

Unfortunately.....

 

No pressure , loose coverage, too many missed tackles and no adjustments . One more point this team hasn't been able to cover TE's in at least a decade.
Do we have anyone that coaches the defense.

The idea of going into the season with 1 WR is looking more and more ridiculous. A ton of bad and an oz of good . Warren ran hard.
