You really can't compare washed up Mike Williams who retired at the end of last year to 25 year old Chris Olave.

Olave is a very good receiver, I’d just be nervous about those concussions if they trade for him.

Thomas must not get along with his HC if they're looking to trade him in only his second year, he has been dropping passes this year.

The price would probably be too high for Thomas; he's probably tired of Trevor Lawrence throwing him those hospital balls.

    May is correct

But drafting a QB next year is a very real possibility

Now as long at Rodgers doesn’t get killed by Broderick……

If you are right about him and Liam not getting along, that could drive the price down. Seriously doubt it happens but would love it.

I don’t see how trading Waddle makes sense for Miami. They have very little cap space and would need to accelerate a ton of future cap $$$ to the current year as dead cap $$$. I haven’t dug in deep, but I don’t know how they could even do it mathematically without cutting or trading other guys with high 2025 salaries and low dead cap dollars. Maybe some of the dead cap $$$ that Spotrac is showing is guaranteed salary that would go to the new team. That’s the on,y way I could see them pulling it off w/o a bigger fire sale.

Thomas hasn't been great this year, but that's kind of insane if it's true. Of course, I would take that in a heartbeat.

I don't see it as much of an issue in 2025 as with 2026 and on. As of this year Waddle accounts for $3.8M in signing proration with $11.4M remaining, and a $3M option with $12M remaining. Miami would be able to push the remaining amounts ($23M) to 2026, but they're also projected to be over by $12M heading in, so they'd be $35M in the red.

Their three big cap liabilities in 2026 come from Tua ($56M), Hill ($52M), and Chubb ($31). The easiest move from an accounting standpoint would be if Tyreek retires/is cut post June 1st, which would save them $36M. But that leaves them with $1M and without a viable WR. They could try to rework Tua, but given the concussion history I don't think it would be considered the most prudent move.

IMO, keeping Waddle would be in Miami's best interests - from both a financial and talent standpoint.

Might want to focus on trading for a DB or two. This secondary is horrid.

    My advice?

Don't bother, don't waste draft capital chasing another wildcard loss.

Waste of time, this scheme sucks balls it doesn't matter who they have back there. Has done for years, same old same old.
