Is it clear now? Our coaching sucks.

If only Broderick Jones was playing D last night it would have been a different story.

Nice. It’s the best game in the world. My games definitely not as good as it was when I played every day, but it’s still good enough to keep me wanting to play more. Only get about 15 rounds a year anymore

Agreed. But that's not the narrative some of the ...... we must find a way to blame certain people think. Those two Ints, one on Rodgers, and one on DK switched the game so fast it was crazy. Everyone involved in the game deserves fault, but that was a big turnaround.

Those interceptions were killer but you know damn well that 31 points should be enough to win with a good defense. That was not good defense on display. Blame the coaches, blame the players, the owner and the damn water boy. I don't give a sh!t. It wasn't good enough to win the game and in my opinion 31 points should be.

After trying to correct my swing for a few weeks once a local pro taught me a ritual to do prior to teeing-off that's really helped my game.

Huge turnaround. Just because one side of the ball blows in a game, doesn't mean the other can't win it for us. I do believe that there is blame to go all the way around (even if 90% or more should be blamed on the anemic defense). The offense could've won this game for us by scoring more points. They were playing well, but didn't fully maximize their potential output.

It's just nice to have an offense capable of winning a shootout for a change. We might need it considering that the defense seems quite susceptible to getting owned on a week to week basis.

Its a really good thing to work on, I am glad that it has helped your game. Its making your pre-shot a routine instead of a mess of self-doubt. Kinda turns the brain off a bit and lets you focus only on hitting a good shot.

Its crazy all the little things that help you get better. Sometimes they even seem unrelated but they aren't.

I read that Ben Hogan said he only hit like 3-4 shots that went the way he’d planned. One thing that really helped me to be more positive on the course was to remind myself, “Even good players hit bad shots.”

Yeah, even if you're good, its hard to hit more than a couple shots EXACTLY how you want them. Though, there are plenty of "good" shots that were more or less not perfect, but still turned out to be very good.

Golf is a humbling game. You play enough of it and you'll hit some god awful shots, no matter how good you are lmao

So, the offense very played well, but could have done better.

The defense played utter garbage and arguably couldn't do much worst.

The O got the lead late in the 4th and gave the D the chance to close out the game. The D failed to close out the game.

The D is the second highest paid D in the league.

Which side do you want to spend time discussing/improving/debating?

I'm not saying that this isn't like 95% on the defense.... The defense played awful. The scheme was awful. The execution was awful. BUT I think it is at least relevant to point out that the offense had some things it didn't do well, even in a game where they played well as a whole. Penalties killing our second drive was awful. If we go up 14-0 how does that change the game? The drive before half, if Gainwell doesn't slip on a screen pass (with a huge gain in front of him) and we end up scoring points there instead of getting picked (on a play that DK should have made anyways), how does that change momentum going into half? There was 4 points left out and AT LEAST a six point swing before half. Doesn't mean that we wouldn't have lost anyways, but we left points on the field and turned it over twice on offense (and lost by 2). It was a winnable game even with the poor defensive effort.

In a perfect world, we could expect perfection from the offense to compensate for the utter crapness of the defense.

In the real world where perfection doesn't exist, I personally find nitpicking the offense's great game nothing more than deflecting away from the real issues of the D.
