They finally bracketed Chase! We need a lot more of that.

 

We had a good blitz going early. We then started blitzing 4. We relaxed on Flacco.

 

Apparently we realized that it's a good idea to give a CB help against the best WR in the league.

 

This is a huge gut check. They need to go down and score a touchdown. Anything less is beyond embarrassing, especially against a reeling defense.

 

Well fellas this is where we see the character, down on the road against the odds, need a scoring drive here.

Flacco still has the arm to dissect the zone and the WR that we can't handle man.

I mean when you get a TD taken off the board, you expect the calls to be even. if you let the Tackles jump early every play it kind of negates the outside pass rush.

 

Get back to the running game give the defense a rest.

This result is no surprise to any Steeler fan. It’s a tomlin choke special. Twice a year we lay an egg against a garbage team and it makes sure we either are a wild card team or miss playoffs. Offense still sucks and d is overpaid and overrated.

One of the bigger issues is that this Steelers offense just doesn't score quick so you definitely can't get down by too much.

 

What happened to blitzburgh. It is like they are scared to do any type of blitzing now. Might as well go down in flames sending everyone.
