You can put Rader on the practice squad, it's possible they could cut Snell, I would like to see them keep 7 DL after what happened last season. Keep 6 WRs DJ, Claypool, Austin, Gunner, Boykin, and Pickens.

I have no idea what discussion you are talking about. I see nothing special in Snell. He's a plodder who is good on special teams.

You pointed out that Warren and McFarland had more yards per carry than Snell ever had. That simply was not true, at least in the case of Warren, and it was silly to compare numbers from a preseason game to games that count.

Warren does look quicker. He also needs to prove he can hold on to the ball. McFarland has always been faster than Snell, but he has managed one good regular-season game in two seasons with the team, and that was only six carries against the Texans in 2020.

The longer the thread goes it sure goes off the rails for sure. And escapes what the OP originally posted about.

He's a leader on special team, playing 2/3rds of the snaps.

And he's a guy who can get you out of a game for multiple positions.

Not a guy who you really want to get offensive snaps. But a guy who's good to give a helmet to on game days because he's a big ST contributor and a reasonable insurance policy at TE / FB / HB. Again, you don't really want him to play any of those snaps. But dressing him will let you dress other guys too because he can be an emergency back up multiple positions. Pretty much the poster child for what NFL backups should try to do.

Huh? Are you talking about Heyward? This is an old thread someone resurrected. I was posting about Bennie Snell, who is long gone.

I Love Frankenstein movies, but the original book by Mary Shelley is boring, and laughable at points.

I’m intrigued too, but I don’t think we’ll ever see a better Frankenstein than this one:

I think I broke some ribs laughing at that blind man scene with Gene Hackman and Peter Boyle the first time I saw it.
