How the mighty have fallen; per NFL.com Baltimore became the first team in the Super Bowl era to allow 37-plus points in four of their first five games.

Ravens fans have gone from coping to resignation:
    • "We're definitely going to be 1-5. For most teams with Super Bowl aspirations, heads would roll in the bye week. But nothing will change with the Ravens.
Steve's a good owner but he can't view EDC and Harbaugh objectively. And Harbaugh has already given Orr his blessing. We're screwed.
Lamar will be able to mask some of the team's shortcomings but even he can only do so much. We have a poor offensive line, no pass rush, poor secondary play, soft defensive schemes, mediocre special teams and unimaginative offensive play calls. I only see 7-8 wins max."
    • "Insane that this is somehow the worst coaching hire ever for a guy who has hired Marc Trestman, Marty Mornhinweg, Greg Roman and wanted to hire Jim Hostler."
    • "Taking a 33 year old kid with 0 Dc experience at any level to coach a championship caliber team. What could go wrong? That’s like McDonald’s taking a kid flipping burgers and making him the vice president of the company, what could go wrong?"
    • "Rams start as 7.5-point favorites on the road right now. I expect that to increase over the next few days. Is that all lol. It's almost hard to believe how fast and how hard the Ravens have fallen. To think the majority of of pundits were picking this team for the Super Bowl."
    • "I don’t see a way that they don’t score 50+ on this 11 parking cone defense coordinator by Orr."
    • "Rams fans taking over the stadium. The optics might be so bad that it will be impossible to not fire Harbaugh and/or Orr next week."

One has to wonder if the Ravens don't get to the Super Bowl this season, have we seen the last of John Harbaugh?! Unusual question to ask but this current Ravens Window is either getting close to being closed or is closed all together; depending on how one is looking at it. RoQuan, Marlon, Nnamdi, Henry and even Lamar all will be older in 2026. Never mind that, the Conference will be catching up as well; Denver and New England being chief among the newcomers.

Finally, Pittsburgh will likely target their signal caller in 2026; doubly so Cleveland. Whether that will work out for either remains to be seen. Regardless, never mind the AFC Conference, the AFC North isn't going to be easy either; not that it ever was for Baltimore anyways.

Again, I will believe it when I see it but John Harbaugh could be on thin ice.

I bet your one of those people who's always grumpy, doesn't know when not to be silent, and lurks around the internet forums picking random fights with pretty much anyone.

It's a marathon... not a sprint. Plenty of games left to be played. Ravens have proven recently their best football is in the regular season months of November and December. Steelers have been the opposite... with fast starts and complete and utter collapses after Thanksgiving. So let's not write off ANYONE in the AFC North yet. :smiley1:

The betting market still has the Ravens the favorite to win the division. The Ravens have the 6th best odds to win the Superbowl while the Steelers have the 16th best odds.

    Good lord man

maybe you’re new to this, but I’ve been around long enough to know not to crown anyone after 4 games.

Also, didn't the Ravens fire their OC in mid season, the same year they won the Super Bowl with Flacco? Heads will roll in Baltimore... but they will rebound.

I think we can pretty much stick a fork in Cincinnati. Without a QB they are done. I just wonder what the over/under game # in 2026 for when Joe Burrow goes in the operating room for season ending surgery. Never seen a more fragile NFL quarterback.

My thought on week 5: Injuries sure can help when it happens to the other team. Burrow and Jackson going down is a huge plus. If we lost AR the AFCN would be a sad division but I bet we'd hang with them.

It's terrible for Burrow because when healthy.... in my opinion, he's the best overall QB in the league. Better than Allen and Mahomes. Burrow is stuck on a team with a crappy FO.

I feel bad for Burrow also but when you put all of your money on 4 players then you are rolling the dice on all the other players on the team. Burrow, Chase, Higgins and Hendrickson are probably eating 80% of their salary cap. That’s not a winning formula. Joe needs a great offensive line or he gets injured as proven over the past couple years. He doesn’t need both Tee Higgins and JaMaar chase to be great. He makes every player better so that is why signing Higgins not necessary and probably cost him another season.
