Turns out he caught lighting in a bottle with Brady and sucks as a college coach. Love it.

It is pretty funny and sad at the same time. Belichick did say during game one that it's a work in progress. He wasn't expecting much years 1 through 2. Year 3 would be the start of an upward trend. 4th and 5th year would be for all the marbles. Remember he inherited a crappy team, now he has to recruit and build one. This will truly be his test.

Yeah but they are not even fundamentally sound. Just a terrible team. that's coaching.

Well has D. Sanders beaten a team that has ended the season with a winning record yet??
Yet many still claim he doing great.
College isn't like the NFL. There is no equality in money spent, or players gotten.

It hasn't been a great start, but I think it's a bit premature to call him a bust as a college coach just yet. I think much of it will depend on the amount of payroll UNC is willing to pony up for talent. I don't think it would be a reasonable expectation for ANY coach to take what he inherited and turn it into the ACC champs in just one season.

Why would you put yourself through this besides money? He has generational wealth
why doesn't he enjoy the rest of his life?

He loves to coach. It's the exact same reason the Rolling Stones are still making albums, and playing out. It's what they love. Money doesn't change what they love, it just makes it easier for them to do what they love.
