I agree he seems like a good kid, but that doesn’t win games.

I only saw bits and pieces. I also saw him play very well against the Steelers. I'm certainly not saying he is anything great, but that team has problems all over the place. it's not all on Fields.

No, it's never all on one person, but He isn't helping them, and I said He looked good against us, but I also said after the game, He won't face teams He played with, that has the same coaches, he played with, and a whole off season to game plan against them every week.

0 wins, and 22 losses is Justin Fields all time record if his Defense allows over 20 points. That's with 3 different teams. LoL
That is all You need to know.
Where oh where are all the we should have kept Fields people???

I still would have taken him

He played 6 games with us and 3 with the Jets so saying he played for 3 teams to bolster your argument is pretty weak. Most of that falls with the Bears.

I still would have liked to keep him and see if they could have continued to develop him. Played his best football with us.

Anyway, dont know why you are so hung up on other peoples opinions. You do know you self own yourself every time you do this, right? Unless you think you have never been wrong before. I dont know, you might think that :lolol:

But if you follow that logic through, I guess your opinion is worthless since you’ve been wrong plenty during your lifetime. See how that works.

I know you would take him, if you can run fast you think that makes a good Qb.
Never can just say you are wrong. It's always someone else. LoL Yes I can say 3 teams, because it has happened on 3 teams.
It happened in Chicago (that's a team), it happened in Pittsburgh (that's a team), and it has happened on the Jets, there is another team, so 3 teams. If it hasn't happened on 3 different teams , I wouldn't have said 3 different teams.

Yeah, and we didn’t know anything about him at all. A 100% mystery man to us!

To be clear, I am NOT an advocate of Fields being a good NFL QB, but WTF were we doing that Sunday?

What am I supposed to be admitting I am wrong about :lolol:

I said I would have liked to see if they could have developed him further. He played his best football here. Not sure what victory you are trying to claim but thats your obsession.

    By the way

Your obsession is to say anything you want, and then when You are wrong try making into something else like You are right now. Most people on here say they are wrong when they are wrong, oh, but not you, you try turning it on someone else. That's your way, that has been your way since I've been a member, and not with just me, but with many others. You think it's fine to say whatever you want, but if you get checked on it, woe to that person. I didn't make a thread, and add stuff about how dumb the Steelers were for letting Fields go, nor did I add to it agreeing. Isn't it funny you only act like this when You know you are wrong??? That is Your obsession.

N/A. Fields was never considered great or above average.

His career was never alive enough to "die."

We knew about him, we didn't know about his new HC, and coaching staff, or the rest of the players, plus we won, he lost. He knew the players, coach's, and everything here , and practiced against them. Big difference. Also a whole off season to game plan with that knowledge.

JMO, but what you're doing here is an example of not being wrong, but not right either. Yeah, he's been on three teams who lost when the D gave up >20 points. But the small number of games with the latter two and the performance he put up in those losses don't contribute to the argument you're trying to make.

Fields may never be a quality QB, but your "across three teams" line is more smoke than fire.

yeah - he will forever be a backup and journeyman.

had his best 6 game run here.....with a very controlled offense, GREAT DEFENSE and pretty soft schedule early last year

He has lost every game he has ever played when his Defense allows over 20 points correct???
Has that been on 3 different teams??
Outside of that, I don't know what you want me to say. I never said it was a whole bunch on 3 different teams, I said that it has been his record, which is true, and it has happened on 3 different teams, which is also true.
Now can he break this stat, sure he can, hell he should be able to this year, but until he does, the stat is correct.
    I didn't make anything up.

I totally agree, but can he get better???
I believe he could, but I'm not sure he will.
This is why the Steelers didn't want to play him IMO for the toughest part of their schedule , because the knew if they didn't keep teams to under a certain score, they were screwed. All of this is just my opinion, unlike the fact that Fields is winless if his Defense gives up over 20 points as of today. Tomorrow that could change.

we may never see. Seems like a nice kid - but also plays with that reckless abandon that will get him concussed.

    not a great passer.

    Hope for his best.

We are in better shape w Aaron.

    then.....there is next season....!!

The Steelers need to go away from Quarterbacks where passing and reading defenses is not a strength. We don't having the coaching (Kyle Shanahan), scheme, or development to elevate a project QB (free agency or the draft) with weak passing skills.

That is what is nice about Rodgers, he has the cerebral part of the position down and can still pass with accuracy.
