We'd be 0-4 without him at quarterback. FACT!

There were plenty of other options in the offseason besides Rudolph. Sam Darnold says hello.

Sam Darnold wouldn't have been the worst choice...although I don't recall what his contract is in Seattle. Didn't believe in him enough to commit.

Aaron sure is turning some folks, myself included. I never had strong feelings about him either way honestly (other than SB hatred). His Covid stuff was dumb, but the opinion he's not well liked has been completely false from what I can tell. I've enjoyed him so far, and it seems most of his teammates former and current feel the same.

Just wait until he gets really comfortable.

    I’m waiting for a 4-5 TD game

IMO Roders is playing pretty well for us.

I think for QBs of his vintage, what you really want is a very good to elite game manager. I get that some people think that this is an insult, but it's extremely hard to do in the NFL. Having a guy who's very good at pre-snap reads that can quickly find the right guy to throw it to (really quickly behind this OL) is a big asset at QB. I was hoping that's what Kenny could be, but it didn't work out.

That's pretty much been what he is for us. Although he was more in the Jets game.

And I think if we could protect him, he could probably be even more than that.

Absolutely rooting for Rodgers. He does give us a chance but I will never like him outside once a week.

Rodgers is tied for 3rd in the NFL with 8 TD passes but is ludicrously rated the 38th best QB by PFF.

I think MR could squeeze out one win at least

but yeah, Rodgers has not been the problem.

its o line and questionable play calling at times

Quick throws at the level he is doing it slowly changes how defenses work against us. They realize that getting to him is very hard and even pressuring him is difficult, so they should start changing to a defense that is orientated more towards attacking the people he is throwing to. That will then mean that he is facing less pressure and has more time. Sort of the same symbiosis that the run and pass game have to each other. One being good makes the other better.

What about those short weeks like Monday the 15th of December when we play the Dolphins followed by Sunday the 21st of December against the Lions? Maybe 2 likes that week? :p

That’s because PFF is for geeks who want to be more important than the game.

They are rating based on what they wanted to see.

The question is will he last to December? If he survives the Browns I'll have hope. They will get after him.

Rodgers has been better than every QB the Steelers have had since pre-elbow surgery Ben. Why look for reasons to complain?

I'm very excited to watch Rodgers play. He's got a certain cocky attitude and backs it up with his play.

It's been a looooong time since I felt any given pass play could actually work, and work well!

I now have two players on the team I care about: Watt and Rodgers. That's a nice 100% increase.
