The defense in each of the last two games they recorded at least 5 sacks and 2 turnovers
Also, this year they're being more aggressive and blitzing more

OLine is one of the hardest things for me to judge in pre season, so that's why I don't make claims. Only time I will is if they have very short arms like a T-rex

It was definitely a huge improvement. The thing that was scary was how bad the OL was the first 3 weeks. Our starting RB has gotten 92% of his yards after contact and we were well below where we needed to be in YPC (both Warren and Gainwell) despite both RB's running quite well. But, it appears the ceiling is there if they gel together... so hopefully we go out and build some momentum as a unit. If we continue to block like we did vs. Minnesota, we're going to have some big rushing games (and a couple of really explosive 30+ yard runs). There is no surprise that our best OL day turned in our best offensive performance in terms of yards.

Ohhh he probably had where his finger hit the wrong emoji.

The emojis are so close together, they make a toothpick feel like it needs to go on a diet.

It helped that Washington played the most offense of his career and Anderson kicked in a chunk as well. They had six blocking six or seven blocking seven instead of being outnumbered.

Big personnel helped, but the OL just won their blocks more often than before. We struggled the first 3 weeks, only blocking 0.6 yards before first contact on average for our backs. Not good. It was much improved this past week, personnel or not. Adding the extra OT and a better blocking TE didn't make all the difference. McCormick, Frazier, and Jones in particular stood out in a good way in the run game. There were holes there for the RB to run through (which wasn't really the case the first 3 weeks). I'm hoping we get that kind of effort consistently from here on out

All-22 showed the story on the OL. MIN often had 6 or 7 in the box and the Steelers matched that up with 6 or 7 in their 'heavy' package. Mano-a-mano. It wasn't perfect by any means. Jones sometimes still up to bad habits on hand placement and lack of knee bend. But both Jones and Fautanu got frequent help either from Washington or Anderson. And Seamalu had an OK game.
