What Is Going On With The Detroit Tigers?

This team was in first place in the AL Central for the entire season. For a while they were the leaders of the whole AL. They are currently 1-9 in their last 10. They now sit at 1 game back in the AL Central. They got swept by the Guardians, then Braves, and in danger of getting swept by the Guardians again if they lose today. Red Sox up next. They could easily miss the post season altogether.


Strange collapse in this last month. Weird.

 

The tigers can still make the playoffs thank to the new playoffs format back in 2022 and also thank to the astros who don't play well too but yeah,what a awful collapse....A collapse for the age!

They can still make the post season. But now they really have a fight on their hands to make it in. Maybe they put it on cruise control thinking they had it in the bag.

 

The Mets could also have a major collapse...They were at 45-24 at one point,now they are at 81-77,only one game ahead of CIN and ARI and the mets don't have the tiebreaker over them

 

They need to call up Al Kaline.
