Joel gets really weird when it comes to Tomlin and the draft.

and we all know when a draft pick pans out its in spite of Tomlin.. if its a bust, its all on Tomlin

    Did Sawyer play yesterday?

Didn’t hear his name. He will pan out but he needs time to get seasoned

You think all big ten QB's and can't play at a high level in the NFL. Brees and Brady. You said that before on a website I hear that banned you for a while.

As a FYI Sawyer played some snaps in his second NFL game.

I said I don’t enjoy Big 10 QB play. I never said the Big 10 never had a QB pan out in the history of the NFL

Like I said before, “besides Ohio State, what recent QB has prospered in the NFL from the Big Ten?”

Its been 2 years and you keep talking about 2 retired QB’s which proves my point.

I'd have to look it up, but it does seem that way. Although I was very high on CJ Stroud. He's making me look dumb so far this year.

You don’t read. I said “besides Ohio State”

I’ll give you Kirk Cousins and his one playoff win.

JJ McCarthy has done nothing thus far in the NFL.

This is a short list. Which proves my point.

Remember, I said EYE don’t enjoy Big 10 QB play. I never said the Big 10 had zero QB’s in the history of the game.

But compared to the Big 12, Pac10 and SEC, even the ACC and BE back in the day all had better QB play than the Big 10.

Might even throw in the MAC as well. lol

He'll move him to NT because it makes no sense to play someone at their best position. Tomlin is a thinker, he just has nothing between the ears when it comes to football.

Ohio State has good QB’s even if most didn’t pan out in the NFL.

Stroud shocked me but his OL is booty this year.
Ohio State QB’s play well because they have the best WR’s. Its why I told him besides OSU the QB play in the Big 10 is mid IMO.

I watch for the running game and defense. No one tunes into Big 10 to watch passing attacks… lol.

and Stroud is the first Buckeye to look good in the NFL. His OL os trash this year..

what’a funny is Buckeye fans weren’t high on Stroud because he couldn’t beat Michigan but I thought he played great in the college playoffs

Dunno about CJ Stroud anymore. Rookie CJ though was something else. Fields is what he is sadly, JJ is very much an unknown and Kirk is.... Kirk; nothing horrible but nothing special either.

I thought, and I still could be wrong, that he was the best Qb from Ohio State that would also translate to the NFL. Because like You said compared to most of the teams they face, the difference in the roster talent is way off ,until they make the playoffs.

Okay, since Brees and Brady don't count. Russel Wililson doesn't either. How many playoff wins and super bowl do they have? Adding to my short list. This ought to prove my point.

I don’t think you know what your point is.. lol.

Your list consist of 2 QB’s from 25 years ago and Russ who played 1 year at Wisky after transferring from NC State.

and what really proves my point is the best QB in your list (Brady) never threw for more than 2900 yards in a season. He had a total of 30 TD’s and 17 INTs in his 4 years at Michigan and lasted until the 6th round.

Again.. MY point is that I don’t enjoy Big10 QB play, not that the Big10 has never had a successful QB in the NFL.

All this is because you tried to tell people Drew Allar was going to be one of the best QB prospects ever because he “never threw an INT in practice.”

Sorry buddy.. you can’t convince me the Big10 has great QB play because Brees was special in 2003.

No one tunes in every year to watch Iowa, Mich State, Purdue, Wisconsin, Northwestern, etc for their QB play because its not good.. at all.

Maybe Allar will finally do something this year but my goodness, he has been down right terrible vs good teams.

Maiava and Mendoza have been good Big 10 QBs this season.

The Big 10 has expanded with 4 more Pac12 teams and they are known for QB play.

but I can’t lie.. the freshman from Maryland looks like the real deal.

If you count Brady, Big 10 QBs used to have more Super Bowl wins than any other conference. Not sure if that is still true.

My buddy from Texas says Brady doesn't count as he won 7 times and that skews the totals.
