I kno that does not matter but Kiper has his draft grades up , he gave Balt an A- Cincy an A- Cleve C, and Pitt a B i asume he gave Baltimore an A because all of espn love's snifing the Ravens crotch, to me no way is balts draft better than ours, I'M just doing a lil venting so carry on ..... i guess

Yeah I don't think Baltimore did that good either they took a few chances on small school kids

True draft grades won't be known for a few years. Kiper gave the Steelers a B for the 2008 draft.

It's a different kind of grade, though. No pundit is pretending to be a seer of the future. A draft grade at this point is about how these players potentially fill needs.

Tbh, it seems we always get Bs, though.

Watch NFL network. Much better coverage. Eisen can be unnerving, because he has a man crush on Brady, but their analysts are far more knowledgeable.

Say what you will about Kiper, but he is largely responsible for making the NFL draft what it is today. He IS the NFL Draft in a lot of ways. I remember watching Kiper when I was a kid and he's always made it interesting. He's never been afraid to give his opinion and at times has taken criticism for it. Remember the Colts GM blasting him for his criticism of one of their picks? I forgot who it was but Kiper actually turned out to be right. Trev Alberts maybe? McShay is a Kiper wanna-be and if it had not been for Kiper, a lot of these so-called draft experts would be in a different line of work today. So he's a Ravens fan, big deal. He's also objective and fair and the draft will be less fun when he decides to hang it up.

For the record, Mike Mayock is probably the best analyst out there from a pure football perspective. Chris Landry and Greg Cosell are also good.

The part that burns people about Kiper is that he rides that reputation and feels the need to be over-the-top. Some years, he's as good as we are at home.
Those of us who don't know what we're talking about, that is.
Mayock tends to be very dismissive of certain athletes/teams/schools-right off the bat. Master of snap judgement. If he likes a player/team/school, he will go the extra 2 miles to find something at all favorable to say.

What about the professor (John Clayton). He is really indepth in his coverage and he is a Steeler fan, started his carrer in the burgh. Other than Clayton Mayock is my favorite.

Kiper's always been over the top. I remember when the draft was some afterthought that started on Tuesday morning. ESPN televised it and the overly expressive guy with the weird hair and the big head was great entertainment and seemed to know what he was talking about. He was a HUGE contributor to making the draft the commercial success that it is today.

Honestly if at least 2 or 3 guys stick long term you have to say the draft was a success.

    Over the last 5 years Kipers given 13 A's, 83 B's, 60 C's, 4 D's, and 0 F's. Why would you pay any attention to this guy?

Considering we have gotten good grades the previous 4 years on paper following the draft but in reality only one out of the last four 1st rounders has produced. I will remain optimistic, as I like the draft this year, but although interesting and fun, I conclude that these grades don't mean much.
