Will TJ Watt get double digit sacks this season?

Unfortunately, that isn’t too surprising. I think Highsmith can rush the QB, but his run defense isn’t great. It’s an even bigger drop off to Herbig.

 

If everybody on defense played as hard as TJ does then we would have something!
Harmon can't get healthy too soon, we need him.

 

Even if he were to get 20 sacks, the contract would still be a mistake. The Steelers are not a super bowl contender as the team is currently constructed and coached. That money could have been spent more wisely.

 

This. I could have shown many more pictures just like this...They are the only two on the front 7 of the D that the Offense is worried about, and that's sad. I'm seeing this over , and over. These other guys should be feasting.

True but some people on here think he was washed which is laughable. Dude has plenty in the tank. Played a great game today. Washed players dont have good games. And Cam. He played great as well and people had been talking crap about him too.

 

Also other teams don't double, triple, and run away from washed players. I swear that some people on here either don't know what they are watching, they don't actually watch games, or they just watch highlights.

 

In the playoff game against the Chiefs, Watt tipped a pass so that it could be intercepted, and he returned a fumble for a TD.

 

Hopefully a game like this gets him going.

 

Add to this that until the secondary actually decides to cover someone it's almost impossible to get to the QB quick enough.

 

Question: Is a Sack a QB Hit? Watt had 2 sacks and 2 QB Hits. Are these stats from the same plays? Does a Sack = a QB Hit.

I understand that a QB Hit, may not count as a sack, but does a sack always count as a QB Hit?
