Steelers will be lucky to score 10 points vs Flores Vikings D in Ireland.

At least he doesn't take plays off like Pickens.

Likely one of the bigger differences in the game. The only guy on offense making a difference. He came to play and he is a load.

The hope for the steelers is if Wentz loses this game single-handedly

Glad to represent the board at the game today. No matter how ugly it looked, trust me it’s worth it to see all these mopey and frustrated Pats fans in the parking lot right now.
Was told by one that the first half int at the end came about Maye had gotten his bell rung on the play before- any truth to that? Also the Vikings game sure looks a lot tougher now.

patriots young team lost to a Steelers veteran team. It seemed Rodgers made one decent throw all day but happened when it counted.

I may never get out of this parking lot…

#11 is the biggest problem and I have no idea how they can improve it.

Yes to Maye. He was tackled and went down flat on his back. The back of his head whiplashed onto the turf and he grabbed his head with one hand. Maybe adjusting his helmet, but that was a textbook got a concussion set up. It was either 1 or 2 plays later that he threw the interception. I think it was the very next play, but not positive. Several of us in the game thread were talking about how based on what we saw, the independent observer should have pulled him for a mandatory check in the blue tent.

It's not that every player is great or anything, but the play calling and schemes are horrible. Look at Daniel Jones this year. Washington put up 41 with Marriota today. It will never get better until Tomlin and his minions go. Same discussion as always.

It was ugly, but I was grateful for the win... but make no mistake, they MUST Improve!

    Game thoughts

    We won.

    The good:

Bragging rights go out to Watt with his two sccks and one fumble recovery.

Heyward proved his has something left in tank and played very well

Warren ran well behind a bad OL, and right now he is out to go to receiver. He made some good plays.

Echols provided good coverage made a key play

The bad. We were lucky as a Warden with a fist full of pardons in a women prison

Our offense was offensive, But we got +4 gifts in the turnover department.

Rogers is fine with gooo protection when he goes deep which happens about twice a game.

Busterick Jones is going to get Rodgers hurt soon. The next man up must be terrible as he continues to start..

Our soft middle of the defense was hopeless to cover anyone/

The coaching. Oh boy. Tomlin continues to live in his fears. He has the best kicker in the NFL yet he won't risk a 55 yard field goal when his offense is playing poorly and the game is tied in the 3rd quarter?

Nice halftime adjustments, the middle of the field continued to be wide open. New England only out gained us 360 to 203 in yards.

Art Smith has no imagination and does not call a good game in general. He is better than Canada, but...

Again +4 turnovers save our rear end. The last time we got +4 fumbles was when? Lucky for us the ball bounced our way.

It was amusing to see Broderick Jones quickly extend his hand to Aaron Jones, so he could get off the ground, after his guy beat him and put Aaron on the ground. Happened at least three times.

    1. I didn't see what happened on the first fumble by Stevenson. But the other takeaways were created by the defense.

    2. Drake Maye was under pressure all game for the most part.

    3. Muuuuth is not running good routes. Not how he should look as a 4yr vet that got his nice 2nd contract.

    4. The RBs had a nice game today. A rushing TD and some chunk plays as well.

    5. With starters out the secondary had to play a lot of zone. This allowed the Patriots a lot of success with their crossing routes. We were playing tackle the catch which is very frustrating to watch.

    6. Only gave up 14pts today. Re-read number 1.

Spoken like someone who realized Warren's average per carry so far this season is even worse than the one y'all complained about from Harris. Also, your statement is false.

That fourth-and-one in the second quarter was a great example. Maybe he is still hesitant due to the injury, but he doesn't look like the player he was two years ago. That is a play a starting linebacker in the NFL has to make.

I guess you forgot about all of those runs when Najee would like he was stopped, and the pile would keep moving.

If a player hits his head on the turf, then grabs his head, that should automatically mean pulling him from the game to get checked for a concussion. That isn't a judgment call. It is a failure by the spotters who are supposed to catch that.

Folks here think those 1,000 yards every year came on 1,000 carries. They have talked themselves into this irrational belief that he wasn't good.

Maybe Austin should stop running his routes to the same area as Muth that has happened twice in the last two weeks.

If you watch a replay, it is in the last seconds of the 2nd half. Steelers interception in the end zone. Play where he hit his head was just before that. His head absolutely hit the turf and bounced. He also absolutely grabbed his head right after it happened. I can't say why he grabbed his head, but he did it.

The OL didn't give up any sacks
The defense held the Patriots RBs in check
The play calling on first downs is terrible too conservative
Tomlin still owns Vrabel 4-0

It was not because of Brian Flores!
