Love the Grand Nats. A throw back classic to my youth.

I agree with Terminator Mustangs too. Their S/C whine is awesome. Totally unique.

    Whats stopping you then?
    :lolol:
Say what the hell and take the plunge. Mustangs and Camaros are plentiful and are great track cars (every 3rd car in street class is one or the other).

Talked it over with a few friends today and think I'm keeping my car. I'm looking at 12-bolts and I'm going to race once in a while. I'll have to drop a decent amount of money to get the car set up correctly but it'll be cheaper than buying a new car.

One of the guys I was talking to has a '55 Chevy hat runs 9.20s in the high 140s and he drove my car and said he thinks it is a 10-second car if I can get it to hook.

I think it would go tens too with the right rear end setup, suspension, and some practice. Do a small shot and you'd have a serious ride on your hands.

12.1 is very impressive. Is it still stock with just a tire upgrade?

Well I just has my worn out T56 rebuilt with all the good stuff including new bearings and seals, billet keys, bronze pads, new synchros, 26 spline input shaft, new high clamp clutch, and findaza aluminum flywheel . The trans and clutch combo is so much better than the worn out stock stuff. I can't wait untill the break in period is over and I can really put this clutch to to work at the track. Now I can concentrate on adding more power. I'm going to install a ported stock blower and a 75 shot with some fuel upgrades in hopes of getting well into the ten second zone on a stock long block.
