Just like I predicted earlier this week Sermon was likely to be added to the 53.

KJ has a long road ahead to get out of Tomlin's doghouse.

Sermon is definitely a step up from the not ready for prime time Johnson.

He still might if the 3 guys ahead of him get hurt. But probably not even then, we would probably bring back Benny Snell before Tomlin would trust Johnson again.

I have a feeling KJ maybe sitting for some time.
Needs to screw his head on , as do the rest of the Steeler roster.
    And coaches.

I will admit I did and fell for the offseason hype. The local media were saying the same thing about Kaleb thinking he would be the starter, they will need him before this season is over with most likely.

Sheesh, how many times have I had that conversation on here and elsewhere. Why the H3ll did we get rid of Harris? Moving on…

Sermon sure looks to at least run with more power n snap albeit it was preseason. See how he does in the real world. Like the change n if he doesn’t work onto the next one.

He’s the lone bright spot on the offense. He needs to be more involved

I didn't think he would be the starter from day one, but I thought he would be more involved than he is, and that by the last half of the year it would be a Warren/ KJ show, or even possibly a KJ/Warren show, but as it looks right now ............. I was way wrong.

If I remember correctly, Sermon can contribute on special teams, too, so it looks like Johnson won't be getting a hat for w hile.

We can maybe ease off of Johnson. Did he make a brutal mistake? Absolutely. But it doesn’t mean he won’t be a good RB. One really has nothing to do with the other.

What are you even talking about? I wasn't taking a shot at Warren, I meant if they have some injuries at the RB position then Kaleb will be needed .

Add me to the list. :lolol:

I still very much believe in KJ. As it stands though?! The game is way too fast for him at the moment.

Dude needs to sit and learn for the time being. That said, him being on Kickoff Duty was also a mistake. For that matter, he has not returned kicks since he was a Freshman at Iowa.

Barry Foster did alright after his Rookie Blunder in 1990 if I recall.
