Injury Updates

Highsmith is my most disappointing player.

 

Agreed. When we 1st got him I thought.......finally we got the other bookend,, but outside of one year, he has been a disappointment.

 

For me it's Benton and Wilson neither one of them are good against the run, both of them have trouble getting off of blocks.

 

same for Queen

 

In another post I mentioned they are on the smallish side.
Wilson tall and fast, kind of Nickle LB that could hang with TE's like Gronk and Kelcy-Swift

 

They have way too much money invested in the outside linebackers. Watt seems to be fading and Highsmith is always hurt. I'm not sure which contract is worse, but they both look terrible right now.

 

Don’t worry…. Leal will fix the defense.

Harmon practiced for the first time since his preseason injury. There’s likely no chance he’ll play Sunday, but it’s at least a step in the right direction.

 

wilson had 10 tackles and a sack in that game. i don't get all the hate towards this young player. he has only had a handful of starts.

 

He looks physically overmatched in the run game.

 

Have you seen Highsmith. LoL. I don't want him hurt, but I was wanting to see someone else there for a bit.

 

He has been solid throughout his career in run D though. Look at the drop off with Herbig last year when he had to fill in. I’m not sure what’s happening with all these guys so far? Maybe it’s still too early but dating back to last year I see trends.

 

I don't think you want Herbig starting if teams are running the ball down their throat.

 

we are going to see more of Jack Sawyer, which in the long run might not be a bad thing. He’s got a motor and is pretty durable.

Nah, they're desperate just throw him out there in week 4.

 

Hold on Harmon...honestly rather they just wait until after the bye TBH (if there is any doubt on his health).
