The steelers were outplayed.....I mean,the seahawks were not clean too with 2 interceptions and missed FG in the first half.Seattle had way more yards(390-270) and first down that the steelers(21-11).The steelers had only one great play on offense and it was the 65 yards catch and run to Warren

The steelers were also outplayed for most of the time against the Jets

 

Add in the fact that SEA played two safeties deep most of the game. They weren't going to let Rodgers throw deep. But that should have favored the run game more than it did. Frustrating.

 

You would think they would get tired of getting their asses kicked. Terrible both LOS

 

You must have been watching a different game than me. Yes the score was close but statistically we were getting pistol whipped and things evened out with turnovers and it ended up that way.

Payton Wilson is a another promising young player literally being de-developed and getting worse before our eyes.I miss Cowher and LeBeau they could take a guy off of the street and make him good. Tomlin can’t develop a crack habit.

The thing is,they struggle big time against the run but they are not much better against the pass....How many first down the seahawks had on 3rd down and long vs us?!.....Fields had almost 10 yards per pass attempts last week,Darnold was at like 9 yards per pass attempts

And after all those years,they still struggle big time against the empty backfield....

 

It was pretty clear in that game this defense can't stop anything. Ramsey can only be expected to do so much. I am looking at coaching at this point wondering why Tomlin and Austin and Meyers have jobs. You can overcome some player mistakes but you can't overcome a total team loss.

The Steelers were often one of the most physical teams under Cowher... Now, for several years, they can't run the ball, stop the run, or protect the QB.

True it don't take forever to build a great football team...The steelers are .500 team(39-38-1) since our 11-0 start in 2020 and no,the QBs are not the only reason

 

The Steelers Defense in the last 10 games…
• 10 straight games of allowing the opposing offense to gain 300 yards (longest streak in the NFL)
• Allowing 27.9 points per game

 

The steelers had also the worst defense in the NFL last season in the first quarter and this problem continue this season

 

Seven guys blocking five... easy to get to the second level... scheme matters

 

Welp, Tomlin did say the defense would be historic.

 

You're lame trying to cherry pick some stats since the start of the 2020 season they have won 50 games in the regular season .
