Ravens planned to take Shedeur Sanders in the fifth round

So now he's a 3rd string backup behind Joe Flacco and Dillon Gabriel.

 

I am going to call BS on this one as it says "In the 5th round". So Adam is saying the Ravens called Sanders during the 5th round and he turned them down...

I believe before the draft when the Ravens talked to Shedeur Sanders he might have turned them down saying he wanted to go somewhere he could compete for the starting job as a 1st round pick. As soon as Day 3 began Sanders was happy to get any job even in Cleveland!!!
