    NFL begins Tyreek Hill Investigation.
NFL confirms it has commenced a Personal Conduct Policy review of Tyreek Hill
That incident could become, under the Personal Conduct Policy, an aggravating factor in connection with any punishment Hill may face, if he is deemed to have violated the Personal Conduct Policy in his interactions with his estranged wife.

The new domestic violence allegations emerged at a time when rumors were circulating as to the Steelers potentially trying to trade for Hill. The Chiefs, we've heard, were also interested. The current situation will necessarily complicate any effort by another team to make a deal, given the possibility of a suspension.

This may allow the Dolphins to walk away from Tyreek and keep all his GTD money.

Not sure it makes sense even without the off the field stuff.

Would depend on the trade terms I guess.

I don't think we're one WR away from winning a championship. So I think I'd rather keep the draft picks at this point anyway.

Maybe my perception of how much of a contender we are changes by the trade deadline. But I just don't think having Hill would make much difference in our chances of winning against KC, BUF, of BAL in a WC game. I think that's mostly about Rodgers (assuming he survives that long with 77 "protecting" him).

There are more important things we need than tying up all that money and giving up draft picks for Hill.

The Dolphins have to throw in their Left Tackle.

Also, this isn’t first rodeo for Hill. Goes all the way back to his college days.
    Dude just likes beating women.
Hopefully, the Steelers don’t pursue him.

Steelers are getting that same rep.
jabrill peppers your most recent, tho he was acquitted of domestic abuse, was charged with cocaine possession.
    Don’t forget about Vick.
Now you interested in a serial abuser in Hill?

I don't care about him liking nose candy, thats a him thing. I don't like the domestic abuse, but he was acquitted, so I will give him the benefit of we will see.

It matters, but I don't care what he does, as long as he doesn't harm women, or children, plays well, and causes no problems for the team. The nose candy is his business. While I've never been a fan of it, I had band mates/great friends that have. That's a them deal.

The drugs I have no problem with, but the beating of women, no call for it.

Except it isn't a them deal, at least not in a team situation, for many reasons. It is illegal. It opens the team up to embarrassment. It puts the player's health at risk, which affects the team. I am more concerned if an athlete has harmed someone else, but drug use is a red flag, too.

Didn’t we just get rid of one talented, malcontent WR?

Yes. Hill is the better player, but in addition to being a malcontent on the field, he is a violent and dangerous person off it.

Sometimes I think Agents leak to the press, "Oh yeah, the Steelers are interested..." just to drum up interest around the league.

If the Steelers are interested it must be a good move.

That's why I also said doesn't cause problems for the team..
I have worked with, and played with many functional addicts is why I say it's a them problem.

You know I've thought the same thing every time I hear the Steelers, or Dallas is interested in someone.

I understand your point. We will have to agree to disagree. The phrase "functional addict" drives me crazy. At best, that is a temporary situation. If they continue to live as an addict, they will not remain functional.

I admit I am quite biased on this topic. I have had a number of addicts in my family. My brother was a functional addict until he wasn't. Addicts put their own health at risk, too, which is definitely a concern for a pro athlete.

But @steelersrule6@steelersrule6 has told me that information from agents is correct and a viable source of information to be posted here
