Chuck Clark steps in as starter, correct?

I read they feel Elliot will be out 3-4 weeks - their best bet, sprained MCL

Just a couple seasons ago PFF rated Peppers as the highest rated box safety in the league. But then again what do they know?

Let me know the heat factor after you've tried one. Heat is good.

Is Peppers one of those Vets you wait until Week 2 to sign, so their contracts are not guaranteed and you are basically paying them Week to Week.

I heard that any 4+ Vets signed before Week 1's game have their entire contract guaranteed for the year, so many team will wait until after Week 1 to pickup veteran players that were just cut.

He was acquitted of all charges, and was taken off the NFL list. So now he can be signed is what I heard on the radio today.

Kinda goes hand in hand I guess. Once the last line is gone everything goes sideways.

I appreciate the speed at which Khan and Weidl operate.

Good pickup. Peppers is also a decent return man if needed but they are all set in the return dept

Yeah, got to take those rankings with a grain of salt. I think Rodgers was one of our lowest ranked players last game, on offense…. Like 54 or something? Might have even been lower than Jones…. Which seems insane. His QB rating was around 136, so hard to rationalize those numbers.

I don't pay attention to nothing PFF has said since about 4, or 5 years ago when I seen one Qb have 2td passes, and a td run in a game, and won, and the other Qb had one td run, and two ints, and yet had a higher PFF rating. I was like .....YEAH ok. LoL

It's crazy isn't it. It's especially crazy when You actually watched both play, and then You see PFFs ratings.

Flacco has a good live arm and PFF puts a lot of emphasis on that. It doesn't matter to them if the ball is completed, hits the ground or is picked off.

Apparently they also emphasize "almost interceptions" over "actual interceptions", since Rogers got dinged for "two throws which should have been intercepted" while Flacco didn't get dinged for "Two throws which were actually intercepted".
