The Seahawks offense was really bad today in their loss to the Niners but their D did a good job against Purdy.

We should win this one for the home opener but the D is going to have to figure **** out.

Seattle gave SF all they could handle, Darnold looked like his old self. Sure helps to have had
two superstar WR's on your old team.

I'm glad they don't have to face a running QB this week.

I like the Steelers at home. Need to be better against the run and JSN will be a handful no doubt.

I would not be surprise if the seahawks have under 70 rushing yards in this game....Different matchup that last week

Hopefully Peezy Jr is ready. Among the CBs I trust to handle JSN, Peezy Jr tops the list. Jalen Ramsey is needed elsewhere.

DeMarcus Lawrence, Boye Mafe and Derrick Hall all will not make life any easier for BroJo. That said, if there ever was a time for a bounce back game, this would be it. He needs to step it up.

If not, Coaching Staff may want to warm up either Calvin Anderson or Andrus Peat.

I could go on and on and on about schemes and matchups... but in general:
Mike Macdonald has a staff of 30 and there are some good names supporting him. The Seahawks are well coached.

    On offense:
Klint Kubiack is a up and coming kind of guy. His roots are in the Vikings/Denver but did time in the Kyle Shanahan systems. His doomed stint with the Saints was marred with an injury plagued roster.
The Seahawks offensive squad is adapting to a different system.
QB Sam Darnold is in a good spot. He has some good Receivers across the board to throw to.in check.
The run game is anchored solely by Walker who doesn't really scare anyone.

Matchup: Steeler Defense vs Seahawks Offense
We (Steeler Defense) got abused by the Jets run game last week.
I'm unclear if Harmon gets a start, we could use him.
Overall I think the Steelers defense can limit this offense.

    On Defense
The Seahawks defense is the strength of the club.
Aden Durde roots are the Dallas Cowboys along with Dan Quinn at the Falcons. He has a decent staff to support him in his stint as Defensive Coordinator.
It's about the players though, Seattle has manned the defense with some good players.

Matchup: Steeler Offense vs Seattle Defense
    The pressure is coming.
QB Aaron Rogers is an expert at reading defenses and more often than not makes the right reads.
The run game most definitely will need to step it up and force some indecision on the defense.
The TE's could be big players in this matchup also. We can beat their LB's.
I think Rogers is gamebreaker here, if Seattle gets caught sending too many, Rogers will hurt them big time

Special Teams, it is no contest.
Boswell can kick FG's most anytime we cross the 50.
Coverage is good enough to keep Seattle in check.

I feel good about a Steeler win at Home. Maybe it's low scoring 7-6 or maybe 18-6.... but I wouldn't be surprised if we scored more.

Hopefully Peppers can help stop the bleeding on the run defense or Walker will pickup where Hall left off.

Well they best give Jones a heaping helping of tight ends next to him. They have a pass rush for sure.

Rodgers has some lower back stiffness. Can't have another 3 sack fail from Jones. I don't trust him to all of a sudden do a 180.

Washington should line up beside Jones closer than a Siamese twin.
