I quit smoking about 15 years ago. Cigarette smell doesn't bother me but it affects my breathing. I never did like cigar smoke.

Think I quit 6 times before it finally stuck. During every prior attempt I convinced myself just one was okay. Without fail I would be at the store buying a pack within 24 hours. The two most surprising things to me was how badly smokers smell and learning what food tastes like again. I never ate provolone cheese because to me it was flavorless. Then sometime after quitting I tried some. Holy crap it actually has flavor!

Oddly, I still like cigar smoke.

But I haven't smoked one, myself, in almost 2 years.

I quit cigarettes for good 6 years ago.

If I'm in traffic and I smell someone smoking, I instantly want one. But again, it has only been 3 weeks.

Stick with it. Once it becomes revolting to you, you know you're good to go.

I never really cared for the smell of a cigar. But my grandfather used to smoke a pipe, and I liked the smell of that.

Pipe tobacco, and smoke smells wonderful to me.

Which is why I'll never buy a pipe. I'll be done if I do. ;)

I never smoked and quit drinking 6 years ago.

    Never felt better.

This will be my third and, God willing last attempt at quitting and I share your pain. "I'll just have one, just one" Next thing you know, you're filling your vehicle up with gas and ducking into the store to get a pack of smokes. The other issue is my wife quit over 15 years ago on her first attempt. So, when I've failed, I've had to listen to her lecture me.

I haven’t had a cigarette in about 20 years. I do on occasion enjoy a good cigar. By on occasion maybe twice a year.

Quit drinking? For a Celtic Brudah that’s a death sentence!

Take it one little battle at a time. As the days pass the battles become fewer and further between.

I think I would be fine to have a cigar at an occasion, like a bachelor party as I don't drink like I used to.

I really appreciate the encouragement. A guy at work told me he quit 30 years ago and every once in a while, he really, really wants one, lol.

I’m not going to lie and say you’ll never have another craving. However, they do get exponentially easier to deal with.

Reminds me of the time when I won closest to the pin in a golf tourney with a tee shot off a tree.

I disagree. Warren was the only back to make headway. He's a spark. Gainwell is fine but he's a journeyman for a reason.

53 YARDS RUSHING AND A QB that will not be able to help out is going to be a problem. But watching AR sling it 40x per game will be fun.

Honestly it’s so true. I quit cold turkey the day I got out of the Marine Corps. Many many years later I find it absolutely disgusting to smell.

I bought and smoked one in The Bahamas years back, just to see what the fuss was about. Stunk to high heavens and I did not enjoy it. Did not smoke one again. You can have my share.

If I was running things, I’d keep Broderick Jones on a short leash. One more game like that and the ground crew will be scraping Rodgers off the turf with a spatula. If they can’t fix him, I bet he is pulled at the half next week. He looked plain awful today, Trey Turnstile wasn’t as bad.
